    i am curious whether they will actually plant trees on the sky bridges as advertised. Maybe time to give the show flat a visit.

    It is only for the upper floor residents. Lower floor residents cannot go up.

    Do they pay more in maintenance on the higher floor as maintenance is more difficult. Repainting will be an issue. How much is the estimated maintenance fee for a two bedder?

    Default Sales figures within expectations

    Ch5 9.30pm news report - Capitaland says that sales for Sky Habitat is "within expectations" and did not give any figures.

    So how many bought? 1700psf? 1800psf? really? Does anyone expect to sell for a profit in the near future? Maybe 30-50 years time?

    I will just wait for Khaw Boon Wan to launch a BTO at the empty plot of land beside Sky Habitat at 1/4 price

    Location wise it is really not that good. I mean AMK/TPY is like one MRT stop away 3mins. Food wise, AMK/TPY definately has much better choice and variety than Bishan.

    Like that it will push the prices up for Condos in AMK/TPY?

    I guess it is all about the design and building.

    Those few interviewed prospective buyers are relative young (mid 30s -early 40s).

    can be circumvented by changing by-law during AGM. But i suppose the upper floor residents have larger share values so may not succeed. If so, this may breed potential division amongst residents, hmm.

    Higher floor units are larger in size and will have more shares. If so they will pay more in maintenance.

    dunno leh.

    When they are reselling, they will have to compete with all the condos in AMK/TPY/Bishan.

    I don't know how nice the building will look surrounded by HDB blocks.

    EVen if the archecture is award winning but if your surroundings is yucky how nice can it look? I mean all the pics show the estate standing alone in a sea of greenary when actual life, it is surrounded by HDB and ITE.

    The one development that I think looks really nice completed is Reflections as the surroundings are beautiful.

    somehow the environment in Bishan vs AMK/TP is different.....if one has never been to AMK or TPY and after walking around in those areas will surely feel the difference.

    I think the nearby HDB blocks facing SH might appreciate in value, since the view is probably going to be nice.

    You mean view towards the renowed architect design condo. Iconic structure like flyer, sea, MBS, maybe more valuable. They are probably laughing at those staying in the condos as they can just walk to the nearby public pool, sports complex and mrt stn from their flats with $psf at a quarter of the condo price.

    serious? got pple stay hdb laughing at pple staying at condo? the logic seems funny. Its like someone taking taxi laughing at someone driving a Lambo cos it 1/100000 the cost. if like that y so many pple buying MM units or condo units that is way smaller than a HDB unit, that can hardly fit in a table n bed in the room and call it an upgrade? So that they can get laugh at? i dont understand your point....

    Maybe a more appropriate illustration would be pple staying at Bishan 8 or nearby condo , SMILING at SH for pushing up their property value instantly.

    To stand at a neutral point, i wouldnt say pple whom pay a premium as carrot head, But cos "THEY CAN". Can we understand y pple can bet $300k 1 hand on a casino table ? I seen someone siting beside me lose $800k in matter of 10 mins....R they carrot? They might be.... but "THEY CAN"
