I stay 2 mins walk to a mall / MRT .. you will appreciate it when you have a preschool kid/primary school kid who regularly need to go piano, tuition in the m all ...or take 1/2 stops MRT to British Council etc .... and your kid will have regular snack prior to / after his/her lessons in the mall

But bus interchange is probably damaging to health unless you shut window and blast A/C 24h

with MRT network X2 comes 2018 and COE cheong towards 100k .... the premium of staying near MRT will keep going up

So MRT+mall yes, bus interchange no
Ride at your own risk !!!

Looking at the choices and if prices are similar, BR seems to best among the list in terms of location and reputation of developer ?

what if the mall has lots of different enrichment classes for yr kids and wify for grocceries? Can save alot of time and efforts.

the bigger draw is you can rent out easily during bad time.

The best enrichment centres may not be in the mall next to your home. I have nice eatries around my place that people will drive 30 mins there to eat which I only patronize twice this year. Besides that it can be really crowded. Prefer to have a choice to decide whether I want the crowd or not.

Just went to the showroom. Left about 60 plus 3 and 4 bedrooms. But with the new cooling measures maybe it will be very hard to sell the remaining units.

Does that mean that all the buyers who have not exercised the OTP and pay up the remaining 15% (after putting the 5% booking fee), will incur the ABSD (assuming the owners are affected by the new CM).

So how will it work for new developments, where there's no option like resale and they jump straight to S&P.

    Default AbSd

The ABSD will take effect on 8 Dec 2011[3].

Remission of ABSD will be given for options granted on or
before 7 Dec 2011 and exercised within 3 weeks (i.e. on or before 28 Dec 2011) or the option validity period, whichever is the earlier.

Unlikely there will be a lot of returned units - if that is the case.
