13 shophouses at Owen Road put up for collective sale

SINGAPORE: Some shophouses here are hoping to cash in on the success of recent en bloc sales.

A row of 13 freehold shophouses at Owen Road have been put up for collective-joint sale.

All the owners have agreed to the sale and the indicative price is in the region of S$43 million or about S$930 per square foot per plot ratio.

There's also a development charge of some 1.25 million dollars.

The 15,388 square feet site is zoned for use as a residential site with commercial activity permissible on the first storey.

It has a gross plot ratio of up to three can be built up to five storeys.

This will yield a potential gross floor area of up to around 46,164 square feet.

The row of 2-storey pre-war shophouses enjoys prominent frontage along Owen Road and is within walking distance to Farrer Park MRT Station

Jones Lang LaSalle is the sole marketing agent for the tender of the collective sale, which will close on September 23. - CNA/vm
