However I don't understand why the blk near the entrance will be the last one, is that for all condos ?

How I wish there is a backgate facing PIE to be added.
This will be good if pavement is added to the path towards the overhead bridge across PIE.
This path can then allow those staying at VE to walk to the upcoming Bedok North station and the market at Blk 630 at Bedok Reservior.

The other option is to request another bridge to be added behind vacanza but this need more gov support.
The value of VE will be enhanced and at least residence have a nearby market n food centre to go to..

Suggest you guys take a walk to survey the area and have photos ready and make sure proposal is right. Then coordinate with developer and go see the PAP MP during MPS, you know GE2016 coming tsk tsk... If you take the park connector the walk to future MRT is around 720m from side gate, if you bash through HDB flats maybe 655m. Not bad at all!
I heard rumors there is a plan to construct an overhead bridge just outside Vacanza, have anyone heard of this?

I agree with the overhead bridge as a better option which I recommended in my initial post.
However, we need to a stronger authority support.
This option is also viable. If you look at the stretch between bedok north and bedok town park along pie, there are 4 overhead bridges while our side has only 2bridges.
The distance of the 2 stretches are about the same.
GSLJ is right. should appeal to the dev first. I last checked they were building the driveway so would be easier to build a gate before all the walls are up.Originally Posted by GSLJ
