if the seller had seen all the hype @ B.R,he wont anyhow lower price for his unit alrdy unless desperate..
to be frank,apart from being very near mrt..i dont find B.R that appealing leh after visiting the showflat earlier! i was trying hard to psycho myself to have liking for B.R but did not succeed.
it has this very mass mkt feel,d front stacks are all facing the track,main road n hdb blocks across the road..even the blocks at the back are also facing hdb..somemore bus interchange downstairs,like everything so congested.
no atas feel leh imo..

aiya some expats LOVE to walk. i have 2 tenants who LOVE to walk like 15mins to MRT.....sometimes i am also very puzzled....but apparently walking in the tropical heat is a wonderful experience for them

yeah and they don't drive. i think most of the time they take cab la...but my tenant really told me he enjoys the evening walk home from Bedok Mrt to opera estate....i just nod 'yes, yes, yes' i am glad you like the house very much because it is so 'RARE' in singapore to have a private valley area with amenities within 'walking distance'....LOL!!!!!

no need to wait 2 yrs....2012 june his tenancy expire le...and i hope he doesn't get fired from his job...if like that i will have prob finding tenant le...nowadays hard to get tenants who'd want to rent landed....sigh....hope Basic's curse doesn't hit me....

ooh,that 1 shud b low flr unit..those above #10 are pricier.
actually the haig rd area quite peaceful,not much traffic,low noise level n mostly landed properties.
was there in the pm today to try out,its a 10mins walk to katong shopping centre from haig court..only thing is u will be hot n sweaty after d walk which not many will fancy.
i dont like the leicester suites area personally..i am biased towards the east. hee hee
