Still doesn't change the fact D15 as a district has highest condo density. I am referring to new projects near "The View @ Meyer" sitting on tiny plots cant even have space for lap pool on first floor with zero landscape! I don't recall plots 200,000sq ft there. Margate area condo also one tall building on small plots. High population density also means established area - and Singaporeans generally like to stay in crowded places for security. But I guess at some point, some may prefer to move out to more spacious areas. Doesnt make sense for 1/5 of population to squeeze into one district while the rest of the 25 districts have a lot more breathing space. But of course more crowded and congested = less ulu.

Condo plots are mostly with land size of 100K sqft - 200K sqft. So these are not small plots.

You should buy condo in JB, definitely less crowded and affordable for you.

Many of the JB seaside areas much more cleaner than the East Coast seaside (if many of those D15 condos (or rather apartments) ever get to see the sea view in the first place), and real seaview, not container ships and bunker ships view with dirty seaside and frequently oil-tilted and oil-slick seaside.
Don't know why people pay sea-view premium for seeing oil tankers and container ships?

5xxk for MM unit in first page - ranked one of the cheapest private apartment in the entire SG in total quantum and cheaper than many HDB. It's very affordable - looks like your affordability threshold is very low leh. People just say MM units cluttered and you have to tit for tat with "buy JB because 5xxk is not affordable". How imbecile can one be?

I didn't know that MM is coming to East Coast! The concept just didn't match - City always linked to limited space and hip places and singles and hence MM makes sense. MM in East Coast? Thought people said East Coast very low density and should build big houses and not MM units?

I have to call Jurong Bird Park that one of their birds escaped and has been terrorizing D15 residents!

Birds' brains have difficulty understanding why is D15 is so hot with demand, which explains the supply. Sour grapes has been their staple food nowadays... lol.. This is the same bird making crude remarks for any developments in D15.. dunno wats in him..???

Even though I despise those MM units less than $500k that has invaded East Coast and those MM investors in East Coast who keep calling names, I must say the MM units seem to have taken off quite well there. The attractiveness of East Coast shoebox compared to the city is the low budget of $400+k. So I guess, there is demand for <$500k shoeboxes after all. The advantage is that the marginal investors/upgraders with a budget of $400k to $600k will be interested and there are many such investors in SG and they are priced out of many areas with good size units. And with that kind of budget, other than D15 MM which seem to be the trend now, one doesn't have much choices. So these budget MM units will be quite "liquid" in the market. This is after all, probably one of the cheapest "private" property in the entire SG.
