With this development and small mall, Petir Road will no doubt be more congested in future. Buyer beware......

I am not sure whats all the discussion about chute really. Most cdl projects comes with chute outside the unibets partly because of their green initiative to have a recycling chutes separate from general waste and also they like to use a automatic vacuum suction system to transport rubbish from block to the waste bin through pipes instead of using cleaners to clear them.

Those sua ku people will think that having chute in the house is great, but have they also consider the uninvited pest that offen sneak into the house from the rubbish chute?

Snob detected here........(Why call people Sua Ku?).
Be careful you may offend many people staying in condos(even high end)/hdb(esp. older ones) who have chute in their units and they just love it.

Why they love it?Probably because no need to walk out daily to throw rubbish as they find it cumbersome. Imagine doing it day in day out, 365 days a year.3650++ times for 10 years...
Imagine when old still have to walk a distance to throw rubbish? Any safety concern?

If u throw rubbish outside, fall down and die, neighbour will know. If u throw rubbish at home, fall down and die, no one will know.

Bro Matrix, think someone is just going around promoting some property facing reservoir....possibly an agent or buyer getting a bit nervous about what he paid for his unit even if it has nicely concealed chute.....one minute saying a development congested, another minute saying not near hear nor there....obviously picking bones here....

I don't like chute in the house base on my past experience. The pests sometimes wait to ambush you when you open the chute and the smell floats into the house during warm weather.

there is nothing big deal of having the chute inside or outside, so please done try to make mountain out of it. In fact after living in both, I have learn to appreciate having the duo chute system outside because there are no cockroaches in our apartment and at the same time, we can do our part to promote recycling.

The amount of time you are wasting on condosingapore is enuff for you to clear rubbish for 2 generations.

This thread boleh. Long discussion on rubbish chute.
    I must also contribute.
But I think simple and not so high tech.

Maybe just use your feet to step on the pedal to open the chute and
...................................................................................use your hands to catch the cockroaches.

Maybe only hor. No guarantee lah. Some can catch some dare not and must fast hand fast leg

More hygienic to use foot, I believe.
If use foot, no chance to acrobat liao lor.

If use hand (less advance), remember to wash hand with soap esp if SAR re-appear.
you want more hygience you can use a dumb waiter, don't have to open the chute at all.

Just curious Foresque sits on 240,000 sqft land, the land indicated as likely Mall site is similar in size....so is this considered small? Average Mall has 4-5 levels...

    danntbt,
thanks for filling up the plot at eco.
the original (earlier) proposal has a workship place sits beside the mall.
the other worship place is the existing trailer parking area.
maybe 1 church and 1 temple. if minus off the mall will be something like the size of sunplaza.

...not to the area advantage to have a big mall attracting traffic congestion, one that has the typical Fairprice and food outlets would be just great...anyway here is the Setia show house.....almost ready for you to grab the first unit at VVIP preview???

They are starting to build the Clubhouse:

    Nice Greeneries:

Notice....the windows are being cleaned in this block, revealing the green glass:

The area outside the ground floor of Block 66 is being raised....:

...motice the concrete casement for filling in the soil.

.....anyway, any possibility of a Mall like the Star at Buona Vista with integrated place of worship cum mall?...a mall next to a forest reserve is a new concept....perhaps could have trail bikes shops centralized at the location...

URA should have similar concept like Hong Kong Tung Chung Citygate, which brings the crowd closer to the forest. Build a bridge where people can walk from the mall to the bukit timah reserve.
