    currently they are building another freehold project "18 woodsville" at potong pasir with asking price of $1,700 psf. nice looking condo with little introduction. hope to see more nice project along petir and chestnut.

    That's the whole problem here. Chestnut to AMK is so near, to reach each other, we have to go one big round the reservoir. Can't they build ä super HIGHway or tunnel across? World Class transport system??

    look out for the pricing on the other side of Treehouse when it launch later this year.

    Tiong Seng clinches $146m deal to build Tree House

    CONSTRUCTION group Tiong Seng Holdings has won a $146 million contract to build Tree House - an eco-condominium pro-ject in Chestnut Avenue, off Upper Bukit Timah Road.

    The contract, won through subsidiary Tiong Seng Contractors (TSC), was awarded by Chestnut Avenue Developments, a joint venture between City Developments and Hong Realty. Work on the project is expected to start next month and be completed by December 2012.


    ....just noticed that the statement by the contractor estimated the completion date as Dec 2012.....

    Once water tanks hoisted up, maybe give them another 6-7 months to finish the rest of the structure works, e.g. club-house, pools, interior works (progressively doing now)... so...quite possible.

    Went for a run around the area, noticed 2 blocks have their tops being installed.
    Some blocks have most of the plastering done on the exterior, and are being painted white undercoat. Kitchens walls are being tiled, railings are being installed.Glass windows are being attached
    At least one block has Air-con condenser installed on the lower floor........

    stroll round the area and surprise to see the place do not felt heaty on a hot sunny day. the air is natural, this place is good for own stay. just a concern on future transport.
