I wonder how much is the psf done if any for the subsales?

    Thanks in advance.
just give a call to UOL to confirm. You can check transaction in URA.

The Sat advertisement for that last unit is also gone.

    From today BTimes

"For UOL, the preview of The Terrene follows the virtual sell-out of its Waterbank at Dakota, a 616-unit condo fronting Geylang River and next to Dakota MRT Station. The 99-year leasehold condo's launch in April was timed with the opening of the station."

waa, did they panic or can't get loan? Wonder if those are small or bigger units being returned.

    Thumbs up

Did the Geylang River overflow its banks (pun intended) behind DR and WaterBank during the heavy downpour last Saturday? If it did, then at least the government has taken steps to rectify the problems.

In today's Business Times, it was reported,

"...Areas slated for upgrading soon include Geylang River and the downstream stretch of Rochor canal."

Another side note, it seems that finally the Grand Old Dame, the National Stadium, will be demolished and the new Sports Hub will be built..

So it seems that when WB gets its TOP in 2014, the area will be "done with"

the key lies in the kallang riverside development. once govt decide to sell the land over there, shd expect prices to hit 2000psf and will have a spillover effect for lavender/dakota condos

    the problem is WHEN?

my seniors were telling me tat lakeside development was oredi announced in 1996/97.... isit true?

perhaps build a shopping centre nearby. That is enough to generate some excitement in that area. The facility is quite unique, wading pool, rain water pavilion. (Something new)?

Please dont quote me..I read in this forum, cant remember which thread, that someone mentioned that the former army camp along Old Airport Road was earmarked for a shopping centre or sorts....Can anyone confirm...

Even if its not gonna be a shopping centre, it would be interesting to know what the govt plans to do on this massive site...

Better still, what would you like to have/suggest if you are given the task to develop the former army camp.

I would like to vouch for a Katong Mall-like type of shopping mall, not so big scale like Parkway Parade...

got chance for a mall as the vacant army camp is just next to dakota mrt. success rate for a mall next to mrt is vy high. if comes true, HUAT ARGH! ...better still..with condo on top of it so tat can push up the prices higher! btw, tat piece of land shd be under D15 rite considering dunman rd?

there is no nid for a park over there as residents can jog along the geylang river...quite nice...i jog b4

I relook at the new Sportshub map. there is a shopping centre in between of the stadium and indoor stadium.

Hope they make the whole area more like a park so that we wb ppl can go there for a walk.

I remember there is a huge longkang fronting the dakota condos. Will there be floods or not in the not too distant future?

    Answer is NO! :P

That longkang is already battle-proven during the last 2 flash floods.
It seems the flood is now occurring along old airport road instead..keke..

    Take MRT when Flood!
