I treated this forum as my bible/referece/database as I posted all the news, updates and latest transactions here. For the last 2 days, I was totally handicapped and frustrated!

Why don`t you make your own back-up for all of your valuable datas!

I thought this forum was attacked by hacker, and first thing hit my head is all of your posts with so many records and articles.

Previously(I think in 2007 peak time), this forum was hacked by someone, so all the posts were gone at that time.

    Me too!

I became a wondering ghost and went to visit the salary.sg forum where I can be a Kay Poh and peek at other people's salary.

There's this survey going on now "How much are you earning per annum?" but I didn't post anything because probably end up being called a "liar", "forum troll" or "retard no. 1".

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but have been following most of the threads closely...very informative. This forum's URL suddenly pointing to another site brought me back my worst fears that the site was hacked (as that's what happened to my company site once when my vendor cut corners on the security measures, tho I don't know if that's the cause here) .... so thank god the site's back on. Also, thought I (and the rest of us) had lost jlrx and his propertism forever.

Wow ... SIM LIM SQ must be very happy that CONDOSingapore.com was down. More business for them!

Maybe CONDOSingapore.com owner wants us to appreciate this website more, so he lets it down a few days to let us feel the "lost".

I also thought that there's no more PROPERTISM for me.

Very tired to have to start preaching PROPERTISM all over again in other websites.

Also may not be welcome too ...

I was really "upset". Try again and again but still direct me to another website. Thought I am going to miss all those interesting "once upon time" articles posted by jlrx. Shed buckets of tears.

Btw, the salary.sg website is not as interesting as this.

I am moving from heavy client to thin client - putting everything on the network/web. You are right, I need to backup those data/figures posted. Otherwise, when an agent "smoke" me, I will have no concrete data to rebutt him/her.

Yes, that 2007 experience was bad. I think it happened during July or August. I can't remember now.

This forum, in its current state, has evolved into something much better than in the past. We have (1) religion preaching, (2) first-hand updates on options signed, (3) transactions, (4) price records, (5) showroom updates, etc.. I hope we don't see another major accident happening.

Are you referring to the religion I'm preaching - PROPERTISM - the religious belief that property prices will always go up in the long term hence properties should only be bought and not sold?

I'm pleasantly surprised that PROPERTISM has quite a large following (see below and also from private messages).

Looks like PROPERTISM is spreading far and wide!

    "jlrx", yes and no.
Yes, I was referring to "Propertism".
No, I was also referring to "Anti-Propertism".

I used to be a Trader 7 days a week. However, I now go to the church on Saturday and Sunday to practice "Propertism" instead.

Trading involves making huge amount of judgement and undertaking huge amount of risk. However, no risk no gain. A correct move can bring you to much higher ground, but a wrong move could bring you to ground zero. ("You may or may not win!")

"Propertism", on the other hand, doesn't require you to do anything (of course, beside acquiring properties). You just need to hold your properties and you or your future generations will "definitely" benefit because assets appreciate in the long run. ("You will sure win!")

I'm glad PROPERTISM is gaining more and more converts!

PROPERTISM has spread to ChannelNewsAsia forum! Just do a Google search using the keyword "PROPERTISM" and select the option "pages from Singapore".

Must be the good work of some of our missionaries here ...
