Default General Fengshui when Buying House

is there any fengshui master here that could advise on 2 things regarding fengshui in general when buying house?

    1. it is generally not good to buy a house situated at the end of a dead end road.
    2. house besides a canal or river ==> some people says it's bad as it would result in the owner falling sick frequently

in general w/o going into the "bazi", how true are the above?

It's subjective... use it with caution. What is good fengshui to one may not be for another. As the term suggest... it is wind and water... good wind and clear water... not just having wind and water... bad wind and water would be near Airport with water treatment plant... Good wind will be at the hill top, back of a mountain with a clear view of the bay.. something like that... With a balance of the Ying and Yang...

Bascially, no need a fengshui master all the time... just walk into the house and feel the house... some may buy on feelings alone... Of course if it is near Hospital or nursing homes...., there wuld be many that would conclude that it is bad. It is up to you.

I would pay premium for house situated at the end of a dead end road. In most Western countries it is considered as a plus point for houses in cul de sac.

    Do a search for 末端路風水

Because at night when cars turning into this dead-end road, its headlight will enter your house through your windows (the narrower the road, the worse) creating mental disturbance. Also if the driver is drunk, the car may go straight into ur house

Again, it is subjective ... if a monk with strong meditation power stay there, I don't think he will get disturbed.

About the river ... it depends on how dangerous and how dirty it is (strong current after rain, stink with rubbish). Family with kids better avoid.

I guess some things like FS, is not whether we believe or not. It's whether potential buyers in the future do or not. If general people believe that then the potential market size becomes much smaller for a given property with 'bad' FS.

i believe every house will have a buyer. if a house has so called bad FS but at very good px, can still buy coz future selling px will also factor in the so called bad FS. if you sell to a non believer of FS, all the better coz u dont need to factor that in and can even make a decent gain

You may be just right. Most FSM will believe that it's the house that chooses the new owner not the other way.

Yeah... all five of my past purchases were 'by chance' and I wasn't even specifically looking at those projects. The one that I went calculatedly after on purpose, made me lose 30k.

Well, FS sometimes is common sense mah ... your 'by chance' purchases could be those with good FS & you might 've already exercised some common sense before you commit. Sometimes think too much doesn't mean things get done I juz read with interest in some other thread some pp still doing defects rectification after moving in ... fwah sounds bad

I was told not to buy Sail after I offload all my units. Was told Sail is pointing to Casino. My ''CHAI'' will flow away.

For practical reasons (which sometimes oso being applied in FS), only choose if you don't mind chanting/crowd/etc. Have seen cases where cars being parked all over the place for a few places of worship (not specific to any religion).

Both my current properties have church/temple right within few steps or facing directly. I feel very 'protected'...

I am living around the area and was curious how the project is selling. I noticed that the showroom is still selling the leftover 2-4 units even though the project is around 60% completed.

The temple can get really "busy" during CNY, Hungry Ghost (super smokey) and the 1st and 15th day of the lunar month.

I reckon most buyers are planning to rent out the units immediately.

I believe to consult FS is good when buying property. But of course the credibility of the FS master is important too....
