How did you manage to sneak in the condo to take so many photos?

She also suggests that if all the fees can be paid by Cash Order instead of Cheque, it will shorten the waiting time of getting the key.
If it's really end April - early May, then we should be getting our TOP letter around next week ?

Next week is already 3rd week of April ...

One ERA agent advertised in the Strait Times today that key collected for the 2 bedroom 1141 sf unit he is selling. Called him, he said owner has received TOP letter from developer.Don't know true or not?

the BCA website only updates monthly. You can only search for projects which TOP in March 2010. Those April ones not up on their listing yet.

All these agents are just full of shit. In fact recently, I got a number of calls asking whether I want to sell and the agent told me that there is one unit 1130 sqft 2+1 asking for 1.15mil, not sure true or not.

Thats not true. In any case, looking at the owner of the penthouse at blk 88, most likely it will collect key first if clementiwoods were to TOP.

On Monday you said that a lady rep of developer told you TOP will be either end Apr or Early May. You called again on Thursday and they told you another thing? Think I have to live in a tent at WestCoast Park to wait for the key

No, they didn't tell another thing. In fact, I was asking two different questions.

For the first call on Monday, I asked then when the condo will TOP. The lady said the TOP should be the end of April or early May.

For the second call, I called them to comfirm the info about a agent who claims that someone has already received the TOP letter and collected the key for a 2 bedroom unit. I asked them, if the condo already TOP. The answer to it is "No, it's not TOP yet".

My best guess is sometimes next two weeks...wait and see loh!

i think the developer and main con is under tremendous stress from us..
or perhaps, they don't bother about it.....

I have been asking about their TOP date from worker and developer since 2009 July....

According to the workers, they suppose to pull out by 2009 Aug but delay till this year March.
Developer ever estimate TOP by end Nov, end Jan (Q1) to end March (Q2)....... now, end April......

Give up..!!! Its not within our control..... only giving them unnecessary pressure and stress.... perhaps this would make them work harder...

Sometime I do really hope the Official TOP is Jan 2010, so that developer can compensate us....

They are now 'engraving' the name of the estate on the outside walls. There is lots of drilling inside going on, seems like some units are still going through some interior works and flooring works.

Ponds had some water in them, water seemed to be flowing. But the bases were cement so water looked mirky and clay colour.

Lots more trees in the estate now. Looks like a jungle from outside.

Just got a phone call from the developer to confirm my current mailing address because they are going to send the measurements of my unit, which I requested few weeks ago, to me by mail. I’m not sure if I’m getting something like blueprint or not. However, it sure will be helpful when I choose my furniture.

I also asked about the TOP date, still got the same answer: “sometimes in the end of April and early May”

Will let you all know what I get in mail in two days.

Don't even bet of TOP in May.
Just went to see the progress and the place is still in a mess with tons of things to be done Not much progress from what I see 2 weeks ago.Landscape not ready , Carpark not ready , Rooftop not ready , Swimming pools not ready, Clubhouse/Function rooms not ready , Many Bathroom/kitchens not ready , Electricalwork just started , plumbing not ready , Floorings need to re do ,Have not even start to re paint walls/ceiling of most units wood spa not ready , Aquatic ponds not ready Road not ready Drainage not ready no telephone/TV line yet and many many more I am not an expert to think of! Will be lucky if they can get approval to issue TOP letter by July.

Just to think that Raintree which was launched 2 years later than Clementiwoods was already TOP for more than 1 year.

The list goes on. both botannia and carabelle were launched later than clementi woods, and we have lived in our units for so long, the units are already showing signs of wear and tear. come to think of it, maybe that is a prize of consolation for you. You get to enjoy your new unit (if it will ever TOP), while our units are getting old. haha.

there is lesson for you, never buy from this developer again.

Yes these developer is one of the most stupid and stingy in Spore. Always launch n sell very cheap when mkt is bottom and hve nothing to sell when mkt boom.

I have a big big headache now after knocking my head against all the brick walls non stop and still cannot stop knocking on it

Just book a make shift tent in West Coast Park with a lousy sea view for $2000 a month and might need to stay there indefinitely

Feel sad for you. For a condo less than two years old and showing signs of wear and tear is really bad...no wonder it is crappybelle.

Hmm... this week is already "End of April" ... If TOP early May, they should have already start informing our lawyers right ... ?

Sorry, first time buying a condo, wish to find out:

Is it that owners will only given the keys after they have made the payment of 6 mths maintenance fee+property tax ? So there is still a fair bit of administration need to be done before the owners can get the keys ... eg 2-3 weeks later, after the TOP date is announced ?

    Thx.

Yes, you will get the key to move in about one month after TOP. But many don't want to move in so soon, because they want to do renovation. so, basically, six to seven months will pass after top before you move in.

In my opinion, FCL is one of the best developer in Singapore.
Perhaps it a mistake for them to award the contract to builder, China Con.

And if FCL has not been prudent and not requesting rectification work from builder, what would all of you said then? It a good sign that they are doing remedial work now. And not to mention some prominent people did actually bought CW with intention to stay there.

My son has a 1389 unit there too, they are sharing the same predicament as you guys. The only difference is I hope CW could delay the TOP date as long as possible. hahahahhaha...

... every one is at the mercy of the main con....
so have to be very very careful doing defects. especially the major ones (leak, crack, choke).

let's just hope FCL does indeed try its best. so yea indeed, it's better for them to TOP later.

... although honestly at this stage, every developer would want to recognize the income asap. after all the "defect" period is for you and the main con to play out. As long as BCA is happy, it's good enough for the developer

that means the earliest I can get my key is June-July ?!!...

Sign, don't know what the china contractors are doing... everytime I drove past, no one or very few ppl seems to be left working there. They kinda look like very 'slack' to me. Hope they speed up the work and quality of work.

    Correction.
Everyone is at the mercy of financier. Even if the authority clear a stage, the bank halting of disbursement could bring any developer or builder to knee.

they've stopped all the drilling (at least I don't hear it). Now seem to be doing the final coat of paint on the facade and also the outside perimeter walls. The ponds are filled with water, but the water plants (if any) are not in and water still looks like clay colour.
The workers inside are mostly landscape contractor's.
