Thanks for the info. How long have you been using the Brandt's washer?
I have only good experience with Bosch for washer, lasted me 12 years until the front door metal hinge broke (due to corrosion) but the washer is actually still working Ok. Oh yes, just 1 repair before to replace the door sensor otherwise the washer cannot detect that the door has been closed.

90% sold is very good already lah. There are numerous projects with less than 50% sold which was highlighted in another thread. The Sound, The Shore, Parc Elegance, Cascadia etc.

In today's context 2 mths later still stuck at 90%, something is wrong.

I agree its overpriced for that location.

bought 1 for my mum, after 12yrs still working. My current piece already 6yrs still spinning 4x per wk. Ang Mo washers generally can last pretty long, just dont overload it. German, French white goods can't be wrong.. So Vision only giving a Brandt washer while the hood hob still SMEG?

I have a toshiba still spinning after 16 years in my tenanted unit and a thomson still spinning after 12 years which is used quite extensively in my home. Sometimes, it may be luck.

Do you trade in your old unit? It is a pity if you don't. I will use it for my rental apartments if I were you. Older models are more reliable. Not sure about the new appliances these days.

Saw a panel on the last plot of land beside The Vision about to go on sale.
I tot MBT was saying 33,000 unsold units is alot..
Then why keep pushing for land sales to the market?

Bid high high is to protect their interest.. and raise the barriers of entry. To prevent water leakage from the sinking ship.

Sell high high is up to them. Set the sail high high lah. Wait for Wind only. "Win" u know?

The tender will be closed for bidding for the land just beside The Vision.
We shall see what is the highest bidding price, and finally the breakeven price.

Let me made a bold prediction : The Vision is worth at most $1000 psf in 2015! (Please take my opinion with a pinch of salts!)

don't be too sure. at least the west coast area does not flood easily.

clementi mall and west coast plaza are as dry as the sahara today. that is why you can't say about those malls at Orchard and bukit timah.

Interesting right? Orchard got flood can sell at $5000 psf, no flood already can sell at $8000 psf?

Your Crabelle no flood barely $1000 psf. Who knows? Next time got flood due to overbuilding become $600 psf again?

Anyway I can make another prediction- this one very conservative (don't even need to be bold): from now till 2016, your Crabelle can't sustain all prices transacted above $1000 psf. Good chance to have transactions below $800 psf during that period.

There is nothing to analyse, just buy.

You will never be able to predict exactly which place is going to outperform another, relatively.

Look at the 1980's classfieds below.

Would you like this West Coast Jalan Mas Kuning terrace filled with heavy vehicles, no beach, poor visibility, smoke stacks for $455,000 ?

Or grab this Grange Heights for $650,000 even though it was not in the prime part of River Valley (as some people pointed out) and too far from the main road?

Or these landed properties for around $400k, even though the rental yield for landed was always miserable?

Propertism Rule No. 1 - Properties should only be bought. Not sold.

Property prices will always go up in the long term simply because paper money will eventually lose all its value.

    Sound interesting... but is true..

Think by the time TOP (while Seahill still in the construction stage).. it should be able to reach 1500-1600psf.. All thanks to FEO
