Default HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THE SELETAR MRT LINE?

Just wondering if anyone has heard of the Seletar line? Heard one of the stations will be close to Mar Thoma Road. It is in one of the websites (www.skyscaper.com), not sure how true it is. So those who bought St Michael or Mar Thoma area have something to cheer about (that is if it is true)

If this guy is working for the govt and leaking out confidential info, this chart is probably real. As you have mentioned that this chart was out a couple of years back, the bukit panjang stations and some others werent even announced yet, so this could be the real deal.

it might take another 20-30 years to fulfill all these "dreams" or "plans".

by then, property play might be another animal altogther already. and if the tiny island is really so well connected, maybe there will >1 CCR....with every part of the island becoming its own nucleus town

or maybe in 30-40 years time, cars can fly in the air with virtual lanes? still rmbr the old school days in pri sch, teachers get us to "dream" and draw what we would expect in year 2000.... ahhaha... my "dreams" were all more advanced and hi tech then present days.

London is many times larger than Singapore and the entire london is prime area of England, so it is not hard for govt to make everywhere in singapore prime since we are so much smaller than the English capital. If that is the case, those who pay top dollar for prime now will be banging their heads...

You mean like Hillingdon is as prime as City of London in London?

You mean like Jurong is as prime as Orchard in Singapore?

if the govt wants to transform any part of singapore into a prime district, nothing can stop them.

    very good point

we are attracting foreigners to take up PR and citizenships

foreigners (esp ang mohs) are so used to travelling 1-2 hrs to get to work in their home country

what is 45 mins drive or MRT from north to south ?

or NE to SW .. or NW to SE ... ?

i am not surprised .. one day we are like the city of london ... every corner is prime .. each with its uniqueness ..

Orchard - prime for tourists / shopping

east coast - prime for laksa and bachang and no parking

sentosa - prime of prime, no cheap makan amenities with container views if look behind

west coast - prime of hills and tree top bridges ..

    north - errr ??

NE - new seafront living ...

novena - prime of medical ( and skin disease treatment)

newton - prime of hawker food

    where else ?

You truly believe that banks (which have money to lend) are for the poors and that medical hub, where medical companies have submitted high-psf bids, is for the old and the sick?

    I feel sad.
Sad that banks and medical hub are not what we like them to be.
Sad that you still have much more to learn from this forum even though you have spent quite some time here.

Perhaps one day we may hear you suggesting that medical hub is a high-class brothel, ...... and is no place for the sick.
    Soon, I hope.

I said "good for old and sick people", I did not say only for old and sick people. Let me guess, you have a property in Novena?

According to your assumption, I have a private property and a HDB flat in every district. (Yes, I have checked, it's every district.)

Having a property in evey district is good !!!

How I wish I can have a property in every district!

I think Property_Owner is able to achieve that with his 40+ properties.

Unfortunately, I am not able to do so.

Unfortunately, I don't his or your wealth.

Even if I have his wealth, I will not own a property in every district. It's difficult to manage.

I ask my tenant to transmit/transfer electronically. In far so good.

I agree with you, collecting rent will be tough with many properties. You will need a proper system to manage the dates, income, tenancy expiry, management fees, repair, etc..
