    Shouldn't it be more rooms better? Can charge more for hourly rates. I know of one man did die want to rent 5 bedroom terrace at Langsat, owner got suspicious and called it off.

    These are not chicken dens u know... High class student types, plus free lance types...

    Talk a walk just opposite the road, waterina stretch... you will know what I mean. Around 8 pm.

    Developer may not like what I say... but I will share... this project should be in the flight paths of F5/F16 C130 etc... returning to base.... Some US planes also fly pass and land at the airport nearby.

    The low level flying and the noise generated is..... especially during the national day rehearsals. If you can accept this, go ahead.

    HDBs in certain locations can be more desirable than the condos in the same location.

    If it smack in the middle of some quiet area in Orchard Road still OK, but near Geylang? Forget it.

    I doubt it will be 300k+ only... most likely 1600psf considering Lim Ah Woo Amarelle already asking 1500++psf.

    Singapore's smallest studio spotted: 258 sqft



    Just when we though "mickey mouse" units got as small as they possibly could, we found a studio that stumped us at Suites@Guillemard, a boutique development in District 14 that is launching soon.

    The unit in question is a Type L studio:


    At just 258 square feet (24 square meters), the studio unit still packs in a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, master bedroom and even its own living area according to its brochure.     I am still laughing at its small size.

    However, I may not have the last laugh. This project may just surge ahead like the rest of the RCR projects.

    Singapore private home prices rose by a whopping 15.9% in the third quarter, reversing four straight quarters of decline.

    Prices of non-landed private homes in the city fringes (i.e. RCR)rose the most - by 19.1%, according to flash estimates released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority on Thursday.

    Rising in tendem were prices of Housing Board resale flats which rose 3.2% in the third quarter.

    The new city-fringe projects that sold well in the third quarter and contributed to the steep rise in the price index were Vista Residences, Parc Imperial, Ascentia Sky and Trevista, said CBRE Research.

    Suburban home prices went up by 15.4% while prices of city-centre homes rose 16.2%.

    These estimates are based on transaction prices given in caveats lodged during the first 10 weeks of the quarter, supplemented by information on the number of new units sold.
