i think they should just convert that into a jacuzzi and do away with the pool. CR residents can contract with guards at OSM or BH to use the 50m lap pools there.

Who is the stupid asshole owner / agent phone number starting 9817 sticking (with strong glue) notices to buy/rent units in CR???

You are defacing and vandalising the common property! Better take down and clean up before we send the management after you.

    THIS IS A WARNING.

It is windy in day time and night time, depending on whether your unit is blocked. From common corridor can see the flyer and CBD clearly. The vicinity is quiet, except for a few dog barks, at night can even see stars if sky is clear. CTE noise is not obvious even though my stack faces it. Evening chanting about 15-30 mins max from the Indian Buddhist temple on Sundays, and that's about it. Short walk of 5 mins to nearest eatery / 7-11. Choice of a few stalls. 8 mins walk to Boon Keng. 2-3 mins walk to main Serangoon road bus stop. 5-8 mins walk to PIE bus stop via park connector then Moonstone. 8 mins by bus to Toa Payoh interchange/MRT. 5 mins walk to Jalan Tentaram bus stop, take 124 to Orchard reach in 20 mins.

Default How to maximise your MM unit in CR (484sf)

The new 'room' is 2.4m x 2m. Not including the planter deck area. 2m more than enough to place single / sofa bed on the left wall, and full wardrobe on the right wall. Single bed 90cm width. Wardrobe depth 58cm. Left about 90cm for walking etc - more than enough.

Living room width now becomes 1.5m. Can put reasonably comfortable 2-seater sofa. TV can mount on the db box panel. Even 40 inch won't look way too big.

Ventilation and light can still pass thru from open planter doors behind living room sofa and the side windows to the left.

    Think this would work?

    If it is not at all too late...... ^^;

    http://resourcefurniture.com/

That'll give u much more space esp. the corridor to the MBR and bathroom vs. yr proposed partition wall.....

Else an IKEA sofabed will do just fine.....

For stay, you will need to consider hidden storage space too....under bed, table, etc.....

How about tatami style living room, which can itself function as a bedroom with rollaway matresses?

wah, like that also can ahh Actually if you want to spend more money, can convert toilet into another study and squeeze a tiny toilet in the kitchen area. As for piping, don't know you going to do it, but it is possible.

    Retain living room:

    Convert to 3BR!!!

your 3bdrm design is the best. Just slice off corner of 3rd bdrm to make the corner less crammed.

to be frank, I will avoid all L shapes property. So much space is wasted for the corrider and walkway. It is not worth to buy such property at all.

L shape is precisely how you can leverage to provide access to all areas of the place without losing privacy of individual spaces....

depends how you look at it. As mentioned by the resident, individual spaces can become more private. For the studio design here, there is quite a lot of usable space in the unit apart from the planter so it is not a bad MM unit after all. I used to think that it is near impossible to create extra rooms in an already tight-fitting unit, but I am proven wrong here.
