so far, heard 17 units left.... showroom still not ready, maybe no use for it after this weekend.... heard another 4 storeys of the units were held back... the risk of blocked waterfront views quite high given the plot of state land nearby... hopefully wing tai will bid for it and plan wholesomely to safeguard interests of their buyers at the riverine by the park...

You confirm? OK then i will call my company's Thai and Bangla workers to join your maids.

Maybe like that GOVT no need to import 2 million new immigrants. Can manufacture locally.

Everything is possible. If Govt is think about moving the port to Jurong, they can do the same with the red light establishments. Agree?

Buyers of this project are doomed. Ridiculous price in kallang cum geylang vacinity. I wouldn't even touch it at $800psf, needless to say $1600psf. This new breed of so called investors are really shit for brains.

That's correct! Cool down and take a nap! What's is there to fight?

Have a good rest By The Bay. We can go down later to get ourselves a few good Riverine units.

Post Re: The Riverine by the Park (D12, Freehold, Wing Tai)

1200-1700?!!!! Definately agents posting to hype people to buy!!!!!Shit, this price for a project between kallang and geylang? What district is it anyway?
This used to be the old furniture warehouse right? It is nearer to geylang than kallang! Only Orang Gila will buy this area for this price. Freehold or leasehold is no issue. It is location, location, location. Your project is next to geylang for God sake. Alamak, many people will go bankrupt as what is see.
May god pity on them when TOP comes.

Singapore can exceed its 3 to 5% growth potential over the next five to eight years, .................... that the government is not worried about inflation despite a planned two percentage point increase in the goods and services tax, a tight labour market, and a red-hot property market.

He said .................... said that rising property prices and higher salaries were a logical consequence of such policies, but added Singapore would remain competitive with other financial centres.

"We are quite confident that we will remain a lower-cost city among the high-value cities of the world. Amongst the financial centres of the world, we will remain lower cost for quite some time to come," he said, adding that office space costs were still about a third of those in London, 40% of those in Hong Kong and about 60% of those in Tokyo.

He said that the planned new financial centre at the city's waterfront Marina Bay would ease price pressure on office space. He also said that the government would not be shy to intervene in the property market to curb excessive price inflation but said "we are not anywhere near that yet."

"We are quite comfortable with the present stage of the cycle because the mass market is not involved in the frenzy," he said.

Hello friend, why so angry? Relax!

    1. The government is not worried about the red-hot property market.

    2. Rising property prices are a logical consequence of good economy policies.

    3. We are still a lower-cost city among the global financial centres. We are about a 1/3 of London, 40% of HongKong and about 60% of Tokyo.

    4. We are not anywhere near the point of excessive price inflation in property market.

    5. The government is comfortable as the mass market is not involved in the frenzy.

You are now getting richer! Happy right?

The good, the bad, the ugly!!!

    Good
-- Just at the fringe of CBD
    -- Near MRT
    -- Near new sport hub
-- Part of marina bay development
-- Very convenient route to marina business center.
-- River Park just at door step.
    Bad
    -- Very expensive for D12
-- Surrounding development is depending on URA next released plan (could be great potential or the other way)
    Ugly
-- Near Geyland?? (make a night visit to verify yourself, it is far from Geyland activities, is a serene place)

Dont care if it is near Geylang activities or not, most of the buildings in Geylang are very old and very ugly! Living there is not too good for your eyesight!
