    Yes,the middle plot is earmarked to be retail cum residential as confirmed by URA.My take is it may be awhile for the retail mall to be build(2 years at least).Likely they will wait for condos to be build on the vacant plot in fro nt of East Meadow fst and also with Optima in progress.With more human traffic in that area brought abt by the surrounding condos,then it is feasible to sustain the retail shop business.

    Optima construction is making good progress lately...

    my gut feel would be by Q2/Q3 2012

    Anyone reckon TOP will be close to .......?

    different room type (floor area) typically have different PSF range.

    Add about 18 months after they start building the pre-cast concrete for ground units (for developments below 20 storeys). Have they started the concrete laying yet? Or is it just foundation?

    for the back units (ie those not facing Tanah Merah MRT) they are already buiding level 7th floor already. For those facing the TM MRT, estimated around 3rd floor already.

    Anything between 12-15 months ahead of TOP is not unusual.
    Optima construction is gathering speed. so let's see...

    Looking at the progress, it is difficult. They are slow. But at least they started work. Unlike projects like silversea or skyline.

    I think Mi Casa, Double Bay Residence is also one of the worst buy at that point in time.

    Why would Mi Casa be a good buy? New EC next to it? I thought DBR is way better than Mi Casa.

    Different location.. DBR better buy for East area. Mi Casa better buy for north area...

    Any condo bought in 2009 is a better buy
