Progress seems slow compared to waterfront key which was launched around the same time...
it might be the angle from which the picture is taken, but the area seems quite cramp and congested.
Noticed the below transactions had been removed from URA Caveats Lodged, but still found on Streetsine :-
2 Woodleigh Close #08-02 $805 1098 $883,800.00 21. Jun. 2009
2 Woodleigh Close #03-06 $821 840 $689,400.00 20. Jun. 2009
8 Woodleigh Close #14-15 $844 1076 $908,100.00 20. Jun. 2009
And looking at the dates lodged, seems to be internal sales to staff, as these are the 3 caveats lodged in June 2009 about the Preview dates.
becoz streetsine dates back 15 months but URA only for 12 months so since these 3 transactions are now more than 12 months, they were dropped from URA.

I guess it will be dropped by the Friday update, together with that 1 Jul caveat. Watch for it!

thanks aze & sleek for the great updates...
8@W progress is gaining pace but seems slower compared to other projects like Clover at Bishan that completed their twin towers...
Was it becos of the NEL below that calls for more elaborate constr methods?
Clover was launched end-June 2008, about 1 year before 8@W, and still have about another 9 - 12 months to TOP. Although its double the nos of units, it comprises of 2 blocks, with almost typical floors throughout.
Once 8@W starts on its typical floors, then the progress will indeed pick-up. So if by this year next time, 8@W doesn't topped-out, then its really slow.
sleek, i notice you every week go site visit ~
Ha..ha.. cos the direct view form my place is blocked by HDB flats! Otherwise, can just invest in a good camera with zoom.
Anyway, usually dropped off my son for his ECA at the nearby school, so its all within the vicinity.
What's more, even ran to Bidadari Park on weekday evening now, ever since Bishan Park is closed for the ABC upgrading.
And it does provide a good records of site progress, should one wishes to dispute the progress payment claims.

BTW, can you tell me which website to go to in order to find out the plan for a particular piece of land. I'm interested to know what's the governement planning to do with the piece of land that Centro's showflat (in AMK next to 8 Grandeur) is sitting on now.
According to the URA Masterplan 2008, its earmarked for residential with plot ratio of 3.5. You can check here :- http://www.ura.gov.sg/mp08/map.jsf?goToRegion=SINOriginally Posted by 5577
