Seems like there is a slight drop in the price. Which floor? The blk facing the tennis court?

Probably some of these took deferred payment scheme, so with TOP nearing they might want to let go so as not to take loan, thus might see a slight dip when these pple let go. However, there are many hawks and eagles all waiting on the sidelines to swoop in thus dip in prices shd be limited.

    $1,200 psf when TOP

Looks like there is a quantum barrier of $1.3m for the 1100 3-bedder.

Actually if the salvation army can rent out a little of its space for a few eateries or cafes especially once the international school is up will be good.

Notice that there is a covered walkway being constructed from the woodleigh station going towards aljunied side

    Default tennis court

Steady progress... They just started putting the fence up around the tennis court yesterday. Still a lot of work ahead I think.

Does anybody have a clearer idea of the TOP date other than just June 2012? Feels like it's taking forever!!

I remember someone mentioning TOP in May, what do you guys think? Doesn't seem likely from the progress I see...

Yeah.. Sure hope there won't be any quantum to 2 BR. Can't wait for TOP and prices to shoot up.

I hope it will TOP by May. Can't get the floor plan measurement and can't lock in the furniture we want.

This area will continue to boom. It is the only greenfield land close to the city center. I believe the top planners in the government led by URA should be working on this crown piece of land. From the scale of the construction of Woodsville flyer over, we can expect state of the art planning and amenities for Woodleigh/Bidadari.

Yeah, I have no doubt that there is great potential here. However, I also think that any developments are far far away into the future. It will take many years before they complete their planning and announce their plans, and even longer before these plans are executed and realised. I think we could be talking about at least a decade or two here....

Still, it's nice to know that the potential is there... Can't be too bad for prices in the area going forward

The critical moment is in the announcement and unveiling of the town plan. It should create enough excitement to boost the value of the area. The downside is this economic value comes at a price of loss of greenery and space. There is no free lunch in the world, we grow at the expense of the environment.
