Thanks for the update! The studio unit is really like a hotel room size. Can see the stack 10 boundaries.

Thanks for the view from the other side!

Looks like Tower 2 is progressing onto 12th floor now and Tower 6 onto 3rd floor.

Spouse and me have recieved phone calls from agents from H****** . They claim that they have buyers looking for a unit. When we ask how much they are offering, the quote they give was $950 psf or so...

I told them to check out the new development launching nearby. If they can't make a good offer, dun bother to call....

you guys are really lucky to buy early.......

It's true... a 2 bedroom around 890 sq ft cost around $1.1m and a 3 bedroom around 1200 sqft cost around $1.4m. AND this is after the discount, but can't remember the discount. This discount is only applicable for prevew.

Hmmmm.... but upon reflecting, maybe it's a case of developer setting unrealistic prices... do you know what's their take up rate so far? Not launched officially yet right?

Why don't you try for a unit at 8@Woodleigh then? Larger development with more facilities than Woodsville 28 or NIN....

Can probably get a nice pool facing unit at 1000psf thereabouts. Furthermore, since the 3-bedders are smaller in size and without the CD shelter, it'll be less than 1.1M

You just have to look hard enough...

There were at least 2 units (#04/05) pool facing available around that price. (Caveat: that was last week. Not sure whether still around or increase price)

If you are interested in a low floor woodleigh park facing unit, the compact 3-bedder layout, there is also one available Must do homework if you want a reasonably priced unit in this market.

will not get NIN, too ex.
Besides next to mrt, in term of unit layout, woodsville 28 is really much better than 8@woodleigh. You rightly point out, the room size is really small for 8@woodleigh and without CD shelter. Franky speaking, I cannot stand a 3 bedroom size is smaller than a hdb 5 room flat (1184 sqft). If the unit is so small size (reduce size to make it more affordable), it will not be comfortable to stay at home.

I agree with you on the size bit. Unfortunately, the size of apartments (public and private) are going to be smaller in time to come.

I remembering reading an article on this some time last week....

I personally think that the size of the pool facing units (1098 and 1076 sqft types) are ok actually. The common rooms actually fit a queen bed without compromising movement in the room, though you can't really add anything else in after that, unless it's on the bay window.

For the MRT, once Woodleigh station is opened up (which will be before TOP of 8@W), the difference in distance is minimal.

Of cos, I am looking at it from an investment point of view, while you are probably thinking of own stay. The American school is a clincher for me in this aspect. Rental support haha..

If want freehold, big size and next to MRT, then try Avon Park at Youngberg Terrace, 3 bedroom unit 1700sqft.

yeancheang, not true. For W28, only those not facing pool will have afternoon sun.
