8@W not exactly less than 100m to woodleigh mrt, in fact there is a sign outside the international school saying it is 250m to mrt, so 8@W would be less than 300m.

    hey I m reading.....

I know is difficult to get below $1000psf for this area, be it W28, NIN, 8@W..... in fact even place like punggol also already bid above $700psf, by then when it launch, it will definitely have to sell above $1200psf. If this happen, W28, NIN or 8@W, etc will be even tough to get at $1000psf, it may hit $1500psf.

BUT i will be patient cos i have no money to buy above $1000psf.

U may not be able to afford now, then work harder (or smarter) together with yr partner or family... Prepare the bullets & devise a battleplan.

But then... at the end, it boils down to affordability, risk profile & economy climate (assuming a good spot of course).

Hey all, here are some pictures taken today from blossoms. Good progress on T6 since my last post. They've demolished the showflat too. Other towers don't seem to be getting any taller for the last few weeks, does anyone know why?

Thanks stebu! Construction slowdown is always expected during the 15 days Lunar New Year period, as most of the Foreign Supervisors, Foremen & Workers return home to celebrate.

Majority of foreman, supervisors, Skilled workers like tower or mobile crane operators , subcontractor bosses are Msian, closed for 10-14 days, celebrate cny. So while foreign workers maybe around in Singapore, no leader or decision maker, work also can't proceed, result in slow down. Besides, the CNY is the single "the holiday" for these people. Other times, they work damn hard, late into the night, start early like 8am on site, even sat and sun.

Ya, sub- station normally need to be commissioned on average 9-12mths before actual TOP.

Actually I'm quite surprised that the Substation was still not being constructed, as normally that will be the among the 1st structure to be completed. So that the temporary electricity can be provided for the other works.

Sub-station can be built and commissioned in 6mths. Ya, you are right. Normally, it is one of the structure under the critical path of construction progress as there are testing and commissioning that need to be done. And after it is being certified, then power supply can be feed to the project itself so that electrical test can be done to the actual blocks and critical items like lifts, etc before application for TOP.

OMG! the whole development and the blks are all so very cramped and close to one another. Super high density in small piece of land. No privacy all round. Air flow affected too. When someone farts, the rest of the neighbours will know! Wow. Sure looks uninviting for me. Glad I gave this project a miss at the time of launch for exactly the reasons above... You think there will be many sellers when owners get their keys and walk into the compound?

Yup, picked up 3 properties at that time.

Anyway, aside from density, i think this is a value buy and 8@W owners are all smiling broadly now...
