Very nice, congrats you have one of the best stack facing. Better than Seaview if you ask me, as they will be blocked front and back soon.Originally Posted by xubingtao

Thanks, I did a lot of engineering work when I decide to buy one unit from CM. measure the angle of view from site plan; consider afternoon sun; air flow and noise level as well as future development nearby. Only one thing is missed out, I didn't aware the window is so transparent. Due to some reason, I didn't visit showroom. Now I need spend more effort to design the curtain.Originally Posted by xebay11

why compare with SeaView at Amber RoadOriginally Posted by xebay11
its a class development on its own and not at all
comparable with CM.....in all aspects - location, etc etc
although its going to be blocked (but tell me in SG which condo
is not blocked ) ... it doesnt matter to owners who are really enjoying a living like staying in a luxe five star hotel.....
Dunno yet... But understand its not cheap leh... sigh..Originally Posted by etml
You don't understand my point, yes the Seaview is like a luxe five star hotel......but with a blocked view, kind of shame isn't it. As for which condo is not blocked, some stacks in CM are not blocked, ditto Tana Mera Crest, at least for the next 99 years LOL.Originally Posted by ppty
I agree with you, Seeview is a very good condo. But it has its own weakness. Huge balcony eat up too much space which cause normal bedroom very small. I wonder if it can put in king size bed.Originally Posted by ppty

Hi anyone staying on top floor at Casa, the open concept really mean top floor will have most privacy ... any resident ? not sure is it too hot .. i am thinking of buying one
I think if you dun mind west sun, top floor those stacks facing north (landed property) offers the best private view.Originally Posted by james8899
For those facing each other, I think not too much privacy too. Since Casa Merah is built on a slope.
Look at one of the propertyguru post i posted recently. One of them is #11-13, top floor. You can see the view from the windows..
i just collected my keys over the weekend!must say that the current security is quite tight - they are allowing only those with official letters to enter. a couple of agents tried to sneak in through the access doors and got caught by security personnel stationed just nearby - damn efficient!
one note though: i requested for an as-built floorplan with measurements from the management condo office and was very decisively rejected by the asst condo mgr, saying that neither they nor the developers have this and can only offer me the floorplan taken from the casa merah sales booklet (which i can download from the web).
i find it hard to believe that they are able to build a building without any floorplans, and had to grill the condo management office folks further before they found out that the plans are not ready and i can only get them after some time. anybody with similar experiences/difficulties in getting their detailed floorplans? i have already emailed Choice Homes to feedback on this, but i am still quite puzzled/amazed by the asst condo mgr's insistence that they do not have a measured floorplan.![]()
congrats on officially getting the key!Originally Posted by cksonic

hehe...thanks thanks! i am waiting for this friday. call it superstitious or wat, but i guess anything that makes the elders happy and more at easethere were alot of agents opening other units for viewing though - my fiancee and i were almost tempted to pose as a buyer and walk in, just to see the internal layout of other units in our stack. kekeke..

The only floorplan i got is "to-scale" plan from Choice homes. But I think also not accurate. Notice some discrepancies on the floorplan..Originally Posted by cksonic

i made the payment already but the cheque hasn't go through. think i call them when the cheque clears.
yah u better call. actually my chq payment settled more than a week back, and nobody called me. i tot since i'm not opening the door during 7th month, mite as well leave the key there but on 2nd tots, i called them to at least get the keys first, so that can visit the unit anytime i want
u can choose mon-sat, 9-5pm. they have hourly slots, but the handover took me less than half an hour.

Just collected my keys this morning! I must say that the furnishings of this project is very good.
I own: The Sail@MarinaBay, The SeaView, & The Esta they all are not as good as Casa. I do not see any major defect yet.![]()

1) The security is quite tight.
2) B2 Car park do not have any mobile network connection.
3) HSR agents are helping the developer for unit keys handover. They will get direct own contact info to do sales & rental business.
good to hear someone with such powerful ownerships give such resounding endorsements of casa merah!

You sounds like a property invester. But I don't understand why you bought 'The Seaview" as well as 'The Esta'. Could you share your investment strategy.Originally Posted by East Coast Boy

Brought Sea View and Esta all below $1k psf. Units are tenanted for 7 to 4% return till 2011.Originally Posted by xubingtao

She brought it for own stay, we just collect the keys.
I guess you paid far below $1k psf, should around $750 psf. As far as rental yield, no big difference between high end or low end condo if you buy it at same time, but price range is different, high end condo could change +/-30%, depends on the eco condition.Originally Posted by East Coast Boy
