Thread: The Sea View (D15, Freehold, Wheelock Properties)

Exactly. I was quite pissed off when one forummer said something like east is high class. Rich people are quite spread out - to the northwest of Bukit Timah and Holland and Tanglin is probably the wealthiest. And I hope forummer should refrain from making class distinctions. A person's "classiness" is also not defined by wealth alone. All these desire to show off and put others down actually lowers a person's "classiness" if there is such a word.

So really, it depends on how one wants to present their arguments. If they want to insist that the EAST is poor and low class and what not, then they quote Bedok for its high density and HDB flats. If they want to claim that the EAST is high class, they can use the number of landed properties and luxury condos in Siglap/Katong/Meyer Road etc as an example of wealth. Basically, you believe what you want to believe. The glass is either half full or half empty.

Vibrance, "coolness" etc. is subjective. Natural lush greenery may be interpreted as "ulu", undeveloped etc.

Affluence and success need not be shoved down anybody's throats. It's those that don't quite have it that keep reiterating they are better than others.

Hi focus, I do have quite a few units both resale and brand new developer's unit of penthouses and cluster TOP soon and construction phrase for your consideration as well. Do drop me a line @82818888 should you be keen.

Every other day we have novice posting about transaction he saw on BT.

BT doesnt filter caveat logged, unlike URA. They post every transactions for the month includes purchase by first time owner done 3 years ago but only log caveat recently.

My friend, if you have the financial muscle dont panic - hold it.

Just look around the neighbourhood - Amber Res - sold at avg 1.5K psf (FH)
and Silversea price for LH also avg 1300-1700psf !! And former Rose Garden site bought by Far East and they wont sell cheaper than 1.5kpsf for that FH land in front of SV.

Exception is Esta b'cos project turned out not to buyers expectations - blks too cramped together, "walk thru the rain" balcony etc, etc.... furthermore defered payment speculators probably cant get loans approved - so have to dump,,,,

You are right abt the "walk through the rain balcony". Never occurred to me. Smart of you to notice. So in a downpour, the owner must use umbrella to get into the house? Maybe after 1 year, the MC will allow them to cover up the entire balcony.

the pool view in 2nd floor is better than those in 18th floor, as you will see your opp block's unit at most of the time. only thing is the privacy... comparing with those sky high price, 950 psf quite reasonable lah.

For your info Blk 39 is very close to main road bus stop (amber rd) ; if
i am not wrong this 02 unit is facing direct above the carpark exit tunnel
and faces the bus stop - there is no pool view,,,,,

ask your agent to point out the exact location of this unit and you will be
    surprised

also for this unit heard that a tenant paid rental deposit but within 2 weeks
moved out becos of "noise and pollution" problems.

Pool View also useless as people can look into the unit 100%. All low floor units can't sell well as Super No Privacy at all. Hard to lease out & always asking for lelong pricing.

#05 to #10 will be better unit for Pool View.

Well, if he bot directly from the developer, his cost is around $650 psf
    handsome profit of $300 psf
