    Honestly, the price has obviously overshot by miles last year. This current price is not even the fair value yet...another 10% correction at least will close the gap.

    Back to basic.

    Buyer will argue how come this seller selling so high

    want to make profit##@

    Who dun want to make a profit in selling?

    Who want to make a Loss?

    Even out Dear Govt also invest and make money LOL

    I am sure that buyer also want to make a profit when he/she

    internd to sell his/her house right?

    Therefore if Happy just pay for it , If not happy then dont buy

    Afterall there is plenty of buyers in the market, not just one..

    Just my 2 cents worth

    Read the book "Black Swan" which talks about this. There is so much we know and there is a lot more that we don't know abt the future. No one would have have guessed or planned for 9/11 or the subprime mortgage crisis or the collapse of investment banks. Who'd have guessed that the world's biggest risk insurer did not calculate their own risk.

    Sorry Joe, don't see #19-10 yet. But I was highlighting unit #18-10's original punter who bought at $1,973,160 on 3July2007 who lost out $100K not including stamp duty and legal fees.

    Is it worth paying for Seaview when the price difference between Seaview and One Amber is a great different??

    One Amber is estimated for JUN09. Seaview seems to have better landscaping than One Amber. Its also in a more quiet area versus One Amber. However, what you purchase should really all depend more on the unit you pick within the devt as well as what your priorities and preferences are than on anything else.

    The whole area has potential for the future. The paya lebar business hub and MRT, possibily built opposite PP.

    Unfortunately, in the short term due to sub prime crisis and oversupply, prices will fall.

    Hence, i would prefer Seaview than One Amber and Esta, as its closer to the future MRT station.
