I see. You lucky man.
I believe #06-06 is the highest so far. Are we really in recession??

I just wonder when you guys renovate, did you wire up for the latest fibre optic broadband or staying as status quo?Originally Posted by East Lover
Can share your experience if you are going for the latest fibre optic broadband installation?
good point! just called mgt office, Singtel is contacting them to do some upgrading underground, should be transparent to us ba.Originally Posted by hycondo
Even mgt office has no idea when will the actual upgrading be done, so we have to use the existing cable points. Noticed HDB blocks are doing upgrading now. i guess should be same cable point, right?
To what I know, the technology is different. The current broadband is limit to a certain Mhz but with the new one, it starts with Ghz, physically, I think, they are using fibre optics. So I think there would be wiring done in the house.Originally Posted by East Lover
like that hah... too bad, my reno can't wait for the new technolodgy... will see how when the new broadband really arrives to TropicaOriginally Posted by hycondo

looks like tampines quarry park construction.
but i tink the name is very uncool, should call it something hip like "quarrybay park" in hong kong. haha.

Actually I also did not expect that 1mil unit can be sold (and sold so fast), as i did recommand this unit to one of my friends who always loves to have a mini garden in a condo not long ago...
good news for Tropica Owners!

With the new park at quary, Tropic price will be getting higher and higher!
sorry sister, my wife said the sign indicated road widening at that part, no mention of quarry park.

i'd prefer they build a bridge directly outside our side gate to the reservoir though.

it'll be good for the residents jogging and taking their families for walks around the reservoir. Also rental and price of Tropica will be lagi firm due to this bridge. Win-win situation.

I asked the same question during my house viewing, and the previous owner said mgt did ask URA for the bridge, the answer was "Tropica has to build it at their/our own cost". e.g. using our own sink fund, not tax payers money, since it's really for private residents... then after that no news liao...
how much is the cost of such small bridge? We, new Tropica residents, should raise this again to mgt office?
great idea! looking at the P&L statement, our MC is very rich!

See the PSF!
Exactly!!!Originally Posted by McKinnon
Maybe a proposal, working out the cost/household plus a vote is good. Just a tiny little narrow wooden bridge will suffice, like the one in the "three goats gruff"...
Next move? AGM??
