    Default East Meadows worth buying?

I was looking at Casa Merah but felt a little priced out.

Hence next alternative is East Meadows next to it. My parents like the location being just next to MRT, easier for them go church and with 2 wet markets walking distance.

East Meadow is a 7 yrs leasehold condo. There are many units selling at 600+ psf. It is near to mrt tracks. I've not been there but you may want to go there and see if the noise level is within your acceptable limit.

Also check out the layout of the units and the environment. Property is like a wife, it is a long term investment and depends very much on your feeling towards it. You will know if you like the place the moment you step into it.

Never, never just depends on what others said including my posting. You check it out and decide for yourself.

East Meadows cannot be just 7yrs years old. More like 12 to 15 yrs old

Actually i considered both Casa Merah and East Meadow as well. But my agent told me most banks will not match the price the seller is asking. I asked one bank and confirmed that it is true. The reason is because it is leasehold. Since both Casa Merah and East Meadows are leasehold, i decided to look for freehold, otherwise, the next time i decided to sell, my buyers will have the same problem.

With this in mind, I finally turned to Telok Kurau and bough a new unit (freehold) there at just slightly higher price but freehold and 2 mrt stops nearer to town.

I have been considering Casa Merah too but the prices are too unrealistic now. I am also looking at East Meadows but no sure whether it is a good choice. I have been in there before and feel it seems a little cluttered.

It seems to be quite alright when I view the site, but certain adjacent blocks are very close.
