    Hi guys,

    I was checking ard, and the price for Carabelle suddenly shot up even higher than Botannia!!!

    If that's the case, I might as well buy Botannia since the development is bigger and nicer.

    One possible reason is that P1 registration starting in 2 months. A lot of parents would want to place their kids in Nanhua, 1 km from which is Cababelle located.

    but if Nanhua is want the buyers want, they can buy the infiniti, which are still charging reasonably low prices. unless buyers don't like noise and dust, for which the infiniti is nortorious.

    How about Botannia? Which is located within 1 km of Nanhua. The only problem is accessibility.

    But I don't believe the 770-800 pricing you guys were talking about.

    really?!! That agent tell me if I hold on then I will regret blah blah as now the economy is stabling.

    I just replied him "we shall see how stable the economy is... "

    stalingrad, I would like to be your neighbour but seems not fated And I really hope economy will improve as I rather face a boom to buy property than in a recession.

    Check propertyguru.com.sg. a lot of carabelle units are for sale for less than $700 psf. but many of them were put up a while ago. So, it is questionable whether the prices are current or not.

    But I would sell my unit right away if I can get 770psf. Hope someone makes me an offer. haha. I would laugh all the way to the bank.

    How much did you pay for yours that you would sell right away at 770psf?? Btw, is Clementiwoods/Stellar within that 1km fr Nanhua?

    stalingrad, may I know your unit is how many bedrooms? And bought at which price, psf?

    anyway, i think now the agent/seller is trying to raise prices due to the recently stock rally as market seems to be recovering... once they know they cannot sell at those price, they will lower the price.

    And you know what the agent told me too? He said the units he has with him, the owners has holding power so will not sell lower than their request price.

    Ok lor, hold those units with you lor I look at Botannia or elsewhere in West then.

    We paid about 600psf from the developer, sim Lian, which is a fair price. We do have a kid starting schooling next year. So, for me to sell, my kid has to hate Nanhua, which is possible, given that my son doesn't speak a lot of Chinese.

    nah, clementiwoods and the stellar are at least 3 kms from nanhua. you can't even join the balloting.

    we have a 3 bedder. 1,302 sqf. you want it? I don't mind selling at about 730psf.

    the thing is I want my son to go to fairfield methodist primary, which put less emphasis on chinese. We prefer to live in the one north area.

    Nanhua for me is too chinese, and kids are driven crazy there for chinese.

    we will probably going for a ballot, both for nanhua and clementi primary. But my heart is in fairefield methodist. So if I like to sell it at a fair price, we will move to one north.
