It's a scam by the agents marketing the project. Hillview condos are very ulu and very far from the city. Hillview Regency (99LH) TOP in 2002 or 2003 I think. Current resale prices around 588psf to 775psf so you are not really getting that good a deal as you think

maintainess fee is higher in hvr maybe coz of the units number.

Price already been creamed by others and currently lack motivation factor to spur price...

Also, evrnthough it's name Hillview Regency, it is in Bukit Batok....
May need to wait for Jurong Gateway Development before looking appealing again....

I checked out this dev. The size and high floor was very appealing. There were many people who came and expressed interest. Did we buy? No. Because most of the units face KTV. The neon lights is super bright at night. If you get the other facing, you get to see HDB. At night, you could hear fights and noise.

Transportation isn't convenient. At one time developer include free shuttle bus to MRT. They had stopped liao. Far East is famous for saving $, but building MSCP and charge high prices for their units. I had a friend who used to work for FE. I was told FE will charge high because they have holding power. For units they can't sell, they have a dept to source for tenants. That is why You always see FE advertising and never/seldom sell out.

In the end, we paid a little more and bought caspian. If you can spare alittle more $, buy caspian (new). Otherwise buy parc vista (move in condition).

Hope this helps would be buyers.

This condo has been completed for like 5 years already. Of course it is quiet! The "hot" threads are the new launches and uncompleted properties

A few months ago, I was invited to view a show unit at level 25 (facing KTV).
Am surprise that five years after TOP, there are units avails.

Was offer the unit at 1.1M and ask why so expensive for a 1195sqf unit showroom unit at level 25, the FE agent sy that the way how FE helps to protect property value for existing buyers....

Apology for my negative remarks but I think when come to condo investment... Unless it's really special, it about location, location, location.......

May not be good to invest in FEO project if want to go rental income. FEO will compete on rental of their unsold unit.

I heard FEO is good at lowering down their psf price in bad times where no other developer will do (ICON) and up their price sky high in real good times.

Very hiong. So far, I never have any chance to buy FEO project.

Buy any unit besides FEO project maybe better?

Does FEO lower price even in bad times? I understand that FEO will still stick to sky high prices even in bad times. You have examples for this?

remember i view hillview few years back. was quoted more than $850k for 3 rm size. i checked the transacted price of other block same size is only $700k plus. worst part is the agent told me this is market price. so i asked him the transacted price at next block same size full furnished is so much lower, how do you calculate market value. tat stupid agent told me becos is brand new

Go to FEO website and we will see NUMEROUS condos like Dunman View completed for donkey years already and still got units for sale. They usually don't lower prices and would rather keep the units than firesale the last remaining few units.

I don't know why people like this condo. Some face HDB, some face KTV neon lights, only some face greenery. The prices are not priced for investments at all. It's been so long and yet prices have not moved much. I rather use the same amount of $ and get myself a freehold unit at hillview. Hillview green or hillview heights are priced more attractive and nearer to future mrt and new mixed dev.

can tell that alot of buyers are desparate that price will go up...it is an indication that those not so popular condos are bringing in interest again..same for north condo where the price is still low AS compared to others...
