$69 psf more to go before $1,000 psf. Keep it up!
The question now is whether The Centris can hit $1,000 psf by National Day.

it's a sickly sweet smell...some try to identify it as cocoa but why don't you try smelling it for 4 years...it may smell like something different to you.

We may be reaching point of irrationality.
    99 yrs LH.
    Surroundings over run by FTs.
Fighter jets overhead(can see the rivets and feel the power of the engines).
Factories just across the road spewing all manners of dust and fumes into your air.

I know the smell in Jurong from the cocoa plant, i just did not know it is almost the same as burnt flesh.

FTs or FWs? 2 totally different category.

    Some people say Talents.
Talents in what? This one is debatable.

Well, go down to the park opposite Jurong Point especially on weekends and see...you won't dare to let your women folk out there by themselves.

Come to think of it, even local men dare not venture into the green open space opposite Jurong Point.

The Centris didn't manage to break its current hïgh of $931 psf.
3 more months to National Day.
Can it hit $1,000 psf by then?

Went to Centris for some viewings today. While the mall was extremely packed and gave me the headache, the ambience was a stark contrast once you reach the 5th floor (pool level).

Around yr 2000 when i was still in the army, JP (phase 1) was just a small mall, not packed at all, but sufficient to entertain us during our nights off.

During 2003/4 when i was in uni, JP (phase 2) has expanded and become more happening. Still, the place was not considered crowded and v pleasant to jalan jalan.

This evening was my 1st trip to JP (phase 3) after so many yrs. I could barely squeeze may way through along some of the aisles. Everywhere was having long queue, from restaurants to EC House to Popular bk store to money changer to carparks .... I was joking to my friend that if i were to pick up my shoe and start throwing randomly at the crowd, the chances of me hitting a fellow singaporean could be < 10%

Jurong Point seems to be a hot spot for foreigners. Maybe lots of FTs living in Jurong West. Weekends are the worst, but weekdays are packed as well. Getting suffocating to shop there. You can hardly walk in a straight line or hear English spoken. I feel like a minority there!

I viewed a few Centris units 1-2 years ago. Some are nicely renovated, but I also saw a few 5th floor units full of clutter and junk in the backyard or patio. From exterior Centris looks really ugly and messy with all the different colours of curtains. It just looks cheap. But pool is nice.

i remember jurong point from the days where it didn't even have the extension wing, when it was just a solo block.

and by the way, it's pretty pricey stuff you're checking out there. why not head back a few stations closer to jurong east. newer stuff, cheaper price perhaps.

This shows the attraction of PCs that are very very near to mrt cum mall to many OCRs potential buyers. Trends of $11XX to $17XX already happening......

need some advise, anyway to know which unit this sale belong too?? --

    THE CENTRIS JURONG WEST CENTRAL 3 Apartment 1 1,200,000 1,270 Strata 945 Feb-13

most of unit there start to sell over $1000psf to $1281psf, this first time see a $945psf transaction.
really thinking of buying this apartment on top of Juorng Point, as i think the Bukit Panjang mix development may be more expensive, also not have such 1270sqft unit available....

So is a ground floor unit ... No wonder. Tks Bro ( or sister )

Diversity is good, we also buy one each at West, centre, East,
Iskandar Malaysia counted? If so, then North also settle, but only left one shoot at South area. Looking at commercial project at Pasir Panjang D5.

West is good lah, DPM in charge there, 2nd financial hub , can't wait to see the transformation complete by 2018!

    Ha ha, Bro here.

Good to hear you doing well.

I work in west, really good potential, Tuas extension area huge investments, Good job by EDB.

I don't have any in centre, in 2009 nearly got the sail but think too much and miss it. just got 1 in North last year 3% absd (awaiting TOP) for own stay as want to be away from city.

Also like some bro/sis here, Thinking to sell my HDB EA then get a north MM for retirement home but wait for ABSD not so high first.

PM me when free, one day can meet for coffee to learn & share

I will never sell a HDB EA, as HDB flat will be something got $$$ can't buy anymore in future, also it like a "Freehold".
Rent out better, as the yield for HDB EA should be good!

I do know there Property course teach people -
    a. "Sell HDB flat,
    b. buy one MM Condo unit and one Commercial unit ,
    c. and use commercial unit rental to pay for both unit mortgage".

Maybe possible for some, but we all know the cost is too high.
Such misleading teaching should stop, if not will be cases like few years ago, many listen to agent and sell their HDB and rent a unit (or no place to stay)
    till now....
