    Even though Australian property is generally more affordable Vs Singapore property and presents better value for money, is it possible at all to purchase an Australian investment property at only A$250,000? The honest answer is: Most likely not!
    A$250,000 could be just the cost of the land, or a very small studio type apartment. Both of them would be hard to get financing as a foreign buyer.
    If A$250,000 is for the land only, you’ll need to spend another A$250,000 or more to build a house to complete the transaction.     What if I told you 𝗧𝗪𝗢 properties bought in the almost the 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 with difference in tenure, 1 is 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 near to city fringe, mixed development and mrt while the other is 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗, far from mrt and yet the freehold property actually loss money of -$𝟭𝟯𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬?! While the other made a handsome gains of +$𝟮𝟱𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬.

    Mr. Lim, whom I helped him to buy his condo 10 years ago, wanted to sell his condo in Bedok South and move to a resale HDB 4-room flat nearby.
