After striking a deal to buy the top unit at the Puck Penthouses in New York City, Joshua Kushner and Karlie Kloss are listing a smaller unit in the building for $23.5 million.

The boutique condo project atop the famed Puck Building was developed by Kushner, the real-estate company previously led by Mr. Kushner’s brother, Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former President Donald Trump. Joshua Kushner, a venture capitalist, has no role in the company; Ms. Kloss is a model and the founder of Kode With Klossy, a coding camp for girls.

The couple purchased the smaller unit, a duplex, for $18 million in 2019, records show. It was originally listed for $29.5 million in 2017, according to StreetEasy.

Known as Penthouse V, it spans about 5,700 square feet with barrel-vaulted brick ceilings and original cast iron beams and columns, according to the listing description from Adam Modlin of Modlin Group and Nick Gavin of Compass. Mr. Kushner and Ms. Kloss renovated the apartment, the listing says.

There are four bedrooms, including a primary suite with a sitting room, gas fireplace, two dressing rooms and two bathrooms. The unit also has a private elevator, a home gym and a roughly 1,000-square-foot great room with a double-sided, marble fireplace. The kitchen has professional-grade appliances, a 59-inch steel-and-brass La Cornue range and a built-in espresso machine, according to the listing.

Mr. Kushner is the founder of Thrive Capital, which has offices at the Puck Building. His family’s company purchased the building in the 1990s and later converted the top floors into condominiums. Mr. Kushner and Ms. Kloss recently went into contract to buy Penthouse I, the building’s top unit, for an undisclosed price. That penthouse was the last unsold apartment in the six-unit project. It was originally listed for $66 million in 2015, according to StreetEasy. The last asking price was $42.5 million in March 2019.

Mr. Modlin represented both parties in that deal. The couple declined to comment.

At one time, Jared Kushner said he and his wife, Ivanka Trump, planned to move into one of the Puck Penthouses, the Journal reported. Instead they moved to Florida from Washington, D.C., after the 2020 presidential election, and now plan to build a house on a lot they purchased on Miami’s Indian Creek Island for $32 million.
