2018 My close relative wanted to buy sims urban oasis condo from the developer guoco land. Actually, a Property Agent is handling this case and when everything is almost finalized, suddenly a Property Agent named Thiam hee (Worthy) Tan from orange tee said if we buy the property through him we could get a referral fee of 2% of the property price. He even sends proof of referral fee through WhatsApp to assure us that we will get our referral fee. So we immediately cancel the first agent and bought the property through him. After he got his commission. We called him. He said he is in hospital. Unable to get back to us. After that, he gave another excuse saying he is on some property course and is unable to give us the referral fee. Then After we keep chasing again he blocks us and refuses to answer our call. He even resigns from orange tee to avoid us. After we finally found him at Savills he said if we asked for a referral fee again he will make a report to CPIB and we will go to jail..... he has since joining Savills as a SENIOR SALES DIRECTOR. I just want to ask the public what can I do?
