unless regulations have changed, you have to pay on TOP typically. At that time, your lawyers will inform you and if you intend to pay for it using CPF, arrange for it to be drawn down from your CPF. otherwise, you have to pay cash. your loan doesn't cover stamp duty, neither will the bank loan extra for stamp duty

Just learn from one of the ID company that they have feed receive feedback from their customer in QUARTZ that letter had been received for collection of key in 1st week of MAY.

Final inspection is 28 Apr. Unless they move it early, but very unlikely. Else anythings before 28 Apr are not true. Include received letter for Key collection.

Most ID gives false info to pressurize us to sign on the dotted line with them using earlier TOP dates.
Isaac is right, 28 April is the D-day for Final Authority Inspection which may take 2 days for the entire project to be completed in their inspection.
Afterwhich, owners will be issued letters to start the key collection process. This may take 2 to 3 weeks given we have 625 units.
People can say all they want but that is not going to change the Authority coming in on 28 Apr.

Good news from both of you.
So D-Day minus 6 is finally the Inspection date.
There will be hive of activies going around the whole development. It also trigger other concurrent event simultaneously. All the ID will be up to their neck.

$700 psf is still a visible sign in TQ. Not surprise based on the transaction done before the crises especially Q2-Q3 of 2008.

If the median price is at 700+, means some are transacted at 750-800psf, still reasonable for high floor/good facing 1 & 2bedroom, will be too ex for a 3bedroom.
