Default Chuan Park - Is it Going Enbloc

Ideal for en-bloc, near MRT, huge land, surface carpark, huge tennis court, huge clubhouse, ie lots of redevelopment potential. Going enbloc?

Right now, no new place is going enbloc. Prices going down, construction cost going up. Also, many more units coming up (based on previous purchases by developers).

How much can a developer pay. There is no way that what he can pay will match what the owners want to clear all the en bloc hurdles. Better for the owner to sell on the open market. Otherwise, he may have to wait for quite a long time.

As prices of everything is likely to stay up, en blocs will only resume when prices shoot up again. Not likely in the next couple of years.

Ya in these few years, thing will be quite quiet for en-bloc, many big developers still got a lot of stocks to clear.
