Developer Sim Lian Group receives 750 e-applications for 534 available units

SIM Lian Group has received 750 e-applications for the 534 available units at the Wandervale executive condominium (EC) as at 5 pm on Sunday, the property developer said.
According to the group, the Choa Chu Kang EC - which is the first EC to be launched this year - is more than 40 per cent oversubscribed.
The application period started on Feb 18 and closed on Sunday, while the balloting and booking date is slated for March 5.
The 99-year leasehold development has 130 three-bedroom units, 322 three-bedroom premium, and 82 four-bedroom units ranging from 958 sq ft to 1,249 sq ft across nine residential blocks of 13, 15, and 17 storeys respectively.
The units were priced at about S$750-$770 per sq ft on average.
Larger units, such as the three-bedroom premium and four-bedroom units, were the more popular options among potential homebuyers, the developer said.
According to Sim Lian, the Wandervale showflat, which is on Choa Chu Kang Ave 3, saw more than 5,000 visitors.
"There was a balanced mix of first-time homebuyers and second-time homebuyers, primarily HDB upgraders, at the showflat," the group said.
Wandervale residents will get a complimentary shuttle bus service to the upcoming Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub for a 12-month period from the date that the project receives its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
Wandervale, which sits on a site of about 205,138.41 sq ft, is scheduled to receive its TOP by 2019.
