    UK 2015 election result shows Conservative party won 331 seats

    David Cameron has promised to lead a government for "one nation" and make "Great Britain greater" as he returned to Downing Street as prime minister.

    Investor reacts to the market on the conservative party victory.

    The benchmark U.K. FTSE 100 closed provisionally up 2.3 percent on Friday, with homebuilders steeply outperforming, after it became clear that Tory Prime Minister David Cameron would be leading the country for a second term.
