Usually, bank will still allow you to refinance half year before the full loan period. I've done this for my other properties. Check with your existing bank, I think you should be able to get a better deal. 5% interest in todays market is unheard of. Should be between 2-3 %. You can save a lot of money with a lower interest rate.

I heard this from a friend. DBS Sibor rate based loan is about 1.8% and Citibank is offering about 1.9%. For your reference.

Hey man. how many "Shares" do you have? mines 6

My unit is actually only a 2+1, for a 3 bedder 287 still sounds decent

Btw the laywer is asking me to pay Stamp Fees before I can collect my keys - Im still quite puzzled as I thought I should have already paid this amount 2 yrs ago ?

    what about u?

I also need to pay stamp duty before key collection.

I don't think you have paid either for deferred payment scheme.

I was told I was 2nd!!! thought I'd be the first... I paid my stamp duties almost 2 years ago.. but I also have the worst lawyer anyone can ever have... didn't do my research proper...

and yes, my bank did help with quick processing to enable me to collect my keys first...
