Many are not just lazy but becoz they are lazy they fear people who are more hard working taking their job . Which drives the xenophobic mind set.

I'm planning for contingency for my next generation should Singapore become irrelevant.

Having said that, I'm still playing my role to make SG work for the next generation.

When people has commitment like ownership of physical assets in Singapore (e.g. properties, companies, businesses), then obviously won't anyhow throw letter. But now the regulations make it difficult and too expensive for foreigners & PRs to own assets like properties in Singapore they can easily ship out of Singapore, and considering the reliance of Singapore on them, I feared for Singapore's future!

Singapore is still one of the best place to live on Earth. I believe foreigners will still come here.

Not sure if Singaporean is getting lazy. It is relative compared to our father and forefathers. I can only say Singaporeans are getting smarter to leverage. This is the problem of most developed countries.

Just hope our younger generations be more humble, hardworking and smart to leverage of cos.

While many foreigners crave to be Singaporeans or living in Singapore, we should realise how fortunate we are as Singaporeans who mostly own at least a HDB flat or more pcs.

If our generations become lazy or "what is in it for me" type of attitude, our future generations will surely suffer.

If you compare with hardworking people, you are lazy but if you compare with lazy people, you are hardworking.
