Default Renting property with "free" car rental?

Just wondering if there is a market for rental property that comes with free car leasing for the duration of the tenancy?

ie. landlord will include the cost of leasing in the rental, so that the expat family could use their housing budget to get a car?

Seldom heard of but why not?

    Separate contracts though.

Take note that extra insurance has to be bought to cover the lessee.

I think if landlords have to resort to that means the rental market is dead.

Not necessary because what you are doing it to package property and transportation into one, which mean for expat with housing budget, they could actually choose to use their housing allowance to get housing cum car. Perhaps instead of living in prime district, they could opt for one in the OCR + car.

For landlord, you just need to hook up with a leasing company to provide the car and the expat will pay for it via rental.

    win win situation for both.

I guess that's for the foreigner who is totally new to Singapore.
Cos most would rather come here and settle down with the house before sourcing for the car.

From my experience, expat families still prefer a SUV to saloon. Those with money will go for Range Rover, smaller budget will got for Kia or Hyundai.

Have rented package like this when in PERTH about 16 years ago. 3 bedder service apartment plus MPV Toyota Tarago (limited to 100 km per day) ~ cost AUD$100 per day.

Doable, some even throw in house keeping, broadband services, gym package etc. Rent can be marked up and claim from employer.

If the employer is so generous enough not to check what the market rate for a similar size condo is & ask why he should be paying so much.... "doesn't your apartment already have a gym?" would be first question
