Default SICC will lose one location

Just got this information from a trusted source that one SICC's current 2 locations will be returned to government when it's lease expires in 7 years time.

Looks like SICC's 7000 members will have to squeeze into one location.

Will they lose their sparkle as Singapore's premium golfing club?

    Thanks for sharing.
    Yes, you are right !

I googled and found this :

Keppel Club and SICC likely most affected by land use policies

KEPPEL Club is unlikely to have its land's lease renewed when it expires in seven years time, while at least one of the Singapore Island Country Club's (SICC) locations could be affected, given the government's land use plans.

There will be no new land allocations for golf courses, the Ministry of Law (MinLaw) said on Tuesday, in response to queries on whether Keppel will be offered an alternative site when its current lease expires in 2021. The land its golf course sits on has been zoned for residential use.
The land lease for SICC, which has four 18-hole courses and the largest land allocation of the 11 private golf clubs, also expires in 2021. MinLaw said that it should "come as no surprise" if at least one of SICC's locations is affected.
In considering the renewal of the golf clubs' land leases, the government looks at whether Singapore needs the land for other uses such as infrastructure and housing, MinLaw said.
