Default Can BSD and ABSD be reimbursed by developer?

Saw an ad today in the Sunday Times which said so.
    Is that possible?

    The above taken from :
    http://www.fareast.com.sg/~/media/pr...9%20Jan%202014

Was curious and went to look at the price.
    I learnt something new.
For cluster housing, the area that they quote you includes the carpark, void spaces and roof as well.

May I know if the void spaces are part of the GFA?

Yes, it's very common and this is one of FEO marketing ploys.

But these rebates must be declared and deducted from the proposed loan amount.

ie if your applying for 80% LTV, it will be reduced accordingly depending on the full rebates you enjoy.

Rebates are also typically given ONLY after you have exercised and paid the Stamp duties first.

after hearing from my agent friends and their experiences with FEO ...

I am guessing the so called Rebate that they give to Buyers , will come from the Cut in commission to the agents who brought the buyers...

So presumably the rebate also is not included in the URA data so if they are giving back 10% of the purchase price the real price is in effect 10% lower than on the ura data ?

I don't think its possible, as typically comm given by developer is negotiated and agreed upon btw Agency and Developer beforehand...

Typically Comm is btw 0.5% to more than 1%..

Nonetheless, FEO has a less than average reputation esp among the Lao Jiao Agents.... I know cos I used to work for FEO and am now doing Mortgage sales...

    Yes catsick, you're spot on....

One famous case was one new launch @ Geylang, whereby the developer went 1 step further and offered to pay 10% on behalf of the buyer, potentially allowing buyers to get up to 90% financing, and this was not shown on URA data..
