Its the angle. From the photo, the ground floor is at least raised to the height of the pole you see at the front.

I think the lowest floor to have a decent view is 6 or 7.

Downtown Line 3 Station Locations Unveiled
Faster Access for Residents in the East to the City and Marina Bay Area

    1. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is pleased to announce the rail alignment and station locations for Downtown Line 3 (DTL3).

    2. The 21-km long DTL3 is the final stretch of the 42-km Downtown Line. It will enhance rail connectivity in the eastern corridors to the Central Business District (CBD) and developments in the Marina Bay area. Fully underground, DTL3 comprises 16 stations, including three interchange stations: MacPherson, Tampines and Expo. These interchange stations will link to the Circle Line (CCL) and the East West Line (EWL), providing greater accessibility and significantly improve travel time for commuters.

Enhanced Connectivity and Greater Travel Time Saving for Commuters with DTL3
    3. Mr Lim Bok Ngam, Acting Chief Executive, LTA said: "Commercial and residential developments along DTL3 will now have easy access to the Marina Bay area, including the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort and the Marina Bay Financial Centre. DTL3 will expand our Rail Transit System (RTS) network further and provide greater connectivity for commuters, thus increasing the appeal of public transport".
    4. DTL3 will also complement the EWL and serve residents along the MacPherson, Bedok Reservoir and Kaki Bukit area, providing significant time savings for residents in these estates. For example, a Tampines resident travelling to Kaki Bukit will have his journey time reduced by more than half, from 25 minutes by bus to 10 minutes by DTL3. Besides time savings, DTL3 will also strategicalalso strategically interchange with the EWL at Tampines and Expo stations to serve the Changi Business Park developments.

Improved Integration With the Rest of the Rail Network

    5. With three interchange stations, DTL3 will also improve accessibility to other areas:
    a) MacPherson interchange station will link DTL3 to CCL. Workers coming from the north and north-west of Singapore who now rely on buses to travel will be able to conveniently access the industrial estates of Ubi and Kaki Bukit which are one to two stations away from MacPherson station.
    b) Conveniently located beside the existing EWL Tampines station and bus interchange, the DTL Tampines station will form the future Tampines transport hub. This will provide seamless access for commuters who frequent the Tampines Regional Centre.
    c) Expo interchange station will link DTL3 to EWL and provide convenient access for companies located in the Changi Business Park. The station will also serve the needs of students from the future university that will be located within walking distance of the two stations.

    Downtown Line
    6. The Government announced its decision to build the DTL in three stages on 27 April 2007. DTL will support the development of the Downtown and Marina Bay area. It will also serve the new developments along Ophir-Rochor Road corridor as well as the existing and future developments in the Marina Bay area, including One Raffles Quay, The Sail @ Marina Bay, Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts and the Marina Bay Financial Centre. All civil construction contracts for DTL 1 and 2 have been awarded.
    7. When fully operational in 2017, the 34 stations on DTL will serve about 500,000 commuters daily.
    8. All efforts have been mades have been made to minimise land acquisition for DTL3. The private lands that are affected by acquisition are - a Shell petrol station along Upper Changi Road East, two parking lots at Bencoolen House, a section of the food court at Peony Mansion, vacant spaces behind Kaki Bukit Techpark and Techview Building and vacant land next to Plaza by the Park. To optimize land use, 15 terrace houses along Merpati Road and Jalan Anggerek will be acquired for comprehensive redevelopment together with the adjacent State land for high density residential development. The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has gazetted the lands affected by acquisition today.

To recap, DT27 is Bedok Town Park and DT28 is Bedok Reservoir (based on LTA DTL3 Alignment map).

One station must be within 400m from Temasek Poly so I bet empty space opposite Aquarius by the Park

think LTA will upload the engineering plan for each station onto their website soon.

Actually we kind of estimated the station location few months back based on the official undergrd sewer diversion enginering drawing... which was issued by the DTL3 station designer/architect & LTA.

    Will upload the drawings soon.

Well, depends on how you look at it, both D28 and D29 are within 400 meters of the edge of Temasek Poly based on the diagram above.

Interestingly, from the posts you probably can tell who have vested interest and who wished they had.
