If those brothers here followed me to shout crash in private condo last month, HDB may not kena like this now. Since the crash would have created a buffer layer like a firewall.

but there will be short term volatilities due to US funds selling EMs (Singapore included)

good opportunity to accumulate STI blue chips next week .. if property price softens enough to counter ABSD .. guess what will happen

Obviously u do not understand the implication of tapering.

Let me enlighten you and OPEN your THIRD eye for YOU:

1) Tapering = Most likely ( I cannot confirm because I am NOT FED ) Reducing nearly $30billion bond purchases every some other day.

2) That means not only Asia will be affected but the West as well.

3) Do you know how much is $30Billion ?

Do your due diligence.

See what the new FED chairman will be up to first. Example : What is his likely stance on tapering and how to taper the QE and in what magnitude.

The new situation we have here may not be the same situation as in the past because this QE is unprecedented for the worse recession in USA after the great depression.

Present investment vehicles may not behave like past instruments.
