10-15mins also very hard to achieve and it's a very very long walk and it's a main street

I think it does take 6mins or so from Skywoods side entrance to Hillview MRT Entrance A. The other way round should be slower for most who are athletically disinclined.

Just got updated 70% sold for The Skywoods. Final 127 units to go...sales seem steady in current market sentiment. Hillview MRT operationalize come Dec 15 might push sales up a little.

    Default Walking distance to MRT

I timed my walk from the Hillview MRT, up the slope at Dairy Farm to the side gate of Skywoods, it's about a leisurely 7-8 minute walk under the tree-lined canopy

Latest update that 77% of units were sold and now left with 96 units on sales. Steady sales figure in this ABSD and TDSR environment.

Hillview is near to a lot of good schools and also not far from city, with downtown line coming, is a place for people who like greenery and not so far from town...also near Jurong area, for Tose who work around there.....

No worry. He is interested in this development. He's just trying his best to talk it down as much as possible. Look at the number of negative comments he has posted on this development. He's just trying to simmer down others' interest so that demand will fall to a level where developer will offer further discounts so that he can jump in when it reaches his targeted level.

In comparison, for past few years till now, other developments which he had expressed immense buying interest and had extensively posted his going-to-purchase comments have, well, moved from the interest phase to the comment phase and finally to the forgotten phase. And then the cycle repeats itself for the next development.

Not sure about no. of units left at HV peak. As in which project is better is very subjective as both have its own pros and cons in terms of pricing, location, built quality and design layout to suit individual. I personally prefer The Skywoods as the pricing is more reasonable than HV peak and the distance to the future MRT is quite the same when compare to HV peak. I also prefer the peaceful environment at Skywoods as compared to HV peak though the HV2 shopping does bring convenience to surrounding estate. But I don't mind walking to Railway mall for food and some groceries shopping too.

I hope you realize that there are 6-7 plots of residential land all around skywoods yet to be sold/developed.
That pretty much guarantees non-stop construction in the coming years. Not so sure about peaceful environment.

Yes I am aware of the 6 more plots of residential lands around skywoods that are yet to be developed. However, the peaceful environment will not be much affected as the lands are further away from Dairy Farm road (see URA master plan) and the natural reserve is still right in front of skywoods. The nearest plot of new land is just beside skywoods and that could probably be the only 'noise' by the construction work in future. But the key advantage for skywoods is the distant (nearest) to the MRT as compared to the future 6 plots of new land. In my opinion, this is the value of skywoods being nearer to the MRT - first mover advantage.

Latest update from my agent: Skywoods left with final 67 units and that means 84% sold thus far. The Hillview MRT will be operational on 27 Dec 15. Seem that everything is on track.
