    Default Paying ABSD

Was just thinking about it how people got the heart to pay govt ABSD for
2nd 3rd property etc...say 1million property you got to pay 70k or 100k just for
    something called a STAMP duty

Wah i really got no heart to pay this kind of money

But then again people who made MILLLIONS thru property may think otherwise

    sigh its a funny world
In the final analysis.....its NOT whether you have a diploma, degree, masters OR PHD....its whether you have a HDB/PC/EC or LANDED...

I am very reluctant to pay the absd too.

If property price appreciate 2.3% each year, for new launch till TOP, the increase in price cannot cover all the stamp duty.

Further to that, the current situation may not see any increases in price.

I also don't want to pay so much ABSD. The basic BSD is already enough.

That is why only the rich will be able to buy properties for investment, the middle class will be very pissed.

If prices do not drop and rise instead, they will be even more pissed.

    Good Luck, the truth hurts.

Imagine this situation where the prices of investment grade properties kept rising and there is still transaction in the URA website. How will the middle class like you feel ?

That is why I advise property owners here not to encourage buying of property anymore, but they do not understand this wider implication.

So you are saying you are not the middle class right? You are the rich owning 3 properties ? Please la, owning 3 properties is NOT RICH.

You are sabotaging yourself without knowing.

If you are rich, you go and sell your 3 properties now, and see if you can afford a small terrace house.

You still don't get it, do you? You think I am trying to create fear. I am trying to HELP YOU. People who own properties like Anchorage or waterview are the middle class. Even those that own Rivergate or The Metz are the middle class.

The rich only buys properties like Hamilton Scotts.

If you are not, then indeed you are sabotaging yourselves as I explained above.

    Hahaha. U bought one???

Anyway, what is the definition of middle class???

Now at least I know what is rich in your definition. But i still confused. Singapore has more than 40% middle class but 20% private??? Oh, no wonder private keep going up - according to your definition, more demand than supply.

    Hahahah

Did you take a IQ test recently?

The middle class who can afford private condo for investment also stays in HDB. How will you feel if you see the rich still buying up investment grade properties ?

Go and check the transaction in CCR investment grade properties after the Jan CM. By investment grade, I mean those that are very lettable. NOT RCR like Anchorage. THERE IS STILL TRANSACTION AND THE PSF IS STILL RISING.

    You got my point.

The rich will benefit as they start to ignore non-investment grade properties and go for the investment grade one. Effectively shutting off the middle class from the game.

Go check URA, HAMILTON jumped from S$3000psf to S$5000psf.

BUT DID ANCHORAGE PRICES JUMP LIKE IT ?

After checking, you will join me in thrashing the prices.
