    As subject. Wondering why the July BTO not announce yet? Is it kbw finalising new rules and condition for 2rm for single as well as 30% price cut for ulu town?

    Yes... 2 room flat... who want buy... useless house.. If you earn 4999pm, better get from resale market... why get a small 2 room flat...

    Actually the sengkang one not bad, next to Layar lrt , beside the river and opposite H2O residences.

    550k for 1 bedroom H2O residences vs 110k for a 2 room hdb flat opposite?

    Sounds good! Only thing cannot rent out for next 5 years. Cannot cash out also. But good deal, great compromise. Good time to be a single!

    Note also that

    "Second-timer applicants and First-timer singles who do not book a flat when invited to do so will have to wait out one year before they can participate in any HDB sales exercises."

    So think carefully before you apply.

    Telok Belangah 4r is half a million 9xx units .... same as Ang Mo Kio .. this one will sell like hot cakes with many chiongsters willing to enslave themselves for half a million HDB ... after 5y can sell 800k

    The site is only within walking distance to 2 circle line stations ... no direct access to Vivo

    there are actually many singles who are staying with parents that cannot afford resales or private. this 2rm hdb for singles i think is a good buy. also, many singles would like to stay single.

    It does seem like it will be treated just as any other schemes. So yes u r correct.

    Buy 16k, in 5 yrs sell 266k maybe? Good 250k profit for small fish. Opportunity cost for abv average single professional is too much to make it worthwhile.

    If a dating couple book two such 2rm HDB each, do they need to sell it if get married? Otherwise super good deal, buy neighbouring units and hack the wall...viola! a super cheap 3rm flat jumbo!

    99y lease. And u need to be earning 1125pm nia or lesser to enjoy that kinda price.

    No, i need to have 1 yr stable income at 1125pm to qualify for max grant.

    Maybe i apply for coffeeshop cleaner 850pm and work for next 12mths to qualify. Or i be asst to chestnut for 1k pm. I can pay full 16k in cash, no problem at all.
