    Default Reimbursement of Stamp duty

    Hi

i was wondering if anyone knows this.

Recently i got a reimbursement of Stamp Duty which i had earlier paid in cash, since i opted to use CPF funds to pay for the stamp duty.

my question is, who wrote that cheque? Is the the commissioner of stamp duties, or developer?

Should be developer issue and pass to your lawyer and then lawyer pass to you

how come developer pays the refund, since the original payment was to the commissioner of stamp duties?

we write a cheque to Commissioner of Stamp duties, it is cash.

CPF board pays Commissioner the stamp duty again from buyer's CPF funds, then refund is given.
