Singapore will certainly not just follow the NS of swiss and will be switzerland of the east and a great playground of the rich. We should not miss the opportunity and the boat. The gap between rich and middle income has widen very quickly in the last 5 years and will be worst going forward.

Talking about that... I just noticed that the vacated HDB flats at Zion/Kim Seng Roads have new paint and windows are to be replaced by brand new ones. Refurbish work being done? To be rented out?
Yee ha! Did I tickle your funny bone?

Same as the nearby Beo Crescent HDBs, which were rented out to foreigners (in the midst of housing deficiency) for several years before getting demolished recently.

I know the Sims Avenue HDB flats also have been rented out after vacating the owners. I wonder what is the govt planning next.

Uk is in depression. Unemployment is on the rise. Not sure why people start to buy properties fm there so early. Should wait a bit longer.
