CDL plans Buangkok project launch next week
616-unit Jewel @ Buangkok will have average selling price of $1,250 psf

CITY Developments Ltd (CDL) is preparing to launch its latest project, Jewel @ Buangkok, its third residential development so far this year.
It announced on Thursday that the 616-unit development, which is a three-minute walk from Buangkok MRT station, is targeted for launch next week.
CDL plans to market this project at an average selling price of $1,250 per sq ft (psf). It will give an early bird discount of 7 per cent at an average price of $1,150 psf.
Jewel @ Buangkok will have six blocks ranging from 15 to 17 storeys. The 99-year leasehold condominium will have apartments with one to five bedrooms, as well as dual-key units and penthouses.
A one-bedroom unit starts from 463 sq ft. Penthouses range from 2,067 sq ft to 2,540 sq ft.
Apart from being near the MRT station, CDL group general manager Chia Ngiang Hong said being near Sengkang makes it attractive.
He said: "Buangkok is an integral piece of the Government's Punggol 21 vision and is an extension of the blossoming Sengkang township. The development's proximity to the future Seletar Aerospace Park will appeal to savvy investors seeking an attractive purchase in this locale."
The other two condo projects launched by CDL in recent months are the 912-unit D'Nest in Pasir Ris and the 868-unit joint venture Bartley Ridge at Mount Vernon Road. D'Nest has sold at least 699 units, while Bartley Ridge has seen total sales of 486 units.
CDL is planning several launches in the next few months. One is a 380-unit executive condo at the junction of Fernvale Link and Sengkang West Way, near Layar LRT station and the upcoming Seletar Mall. Another is a mixed development at the junction of Upper Serangoon and MacPherson roads, near Potong Pasir MRT station.
Another upcoming launch is Charlton 27; its preview will be held this weekend at 10 Charlton Road. It is a development of 27 freehold and strata landed homes near Kovan MRT station. They are priced from below $700 psf upwards for three-storey units starting from 4,000 sq ft of strata area.
